Don't Start if you don't like cliff hangers.

The story line itself was not horrible, I felt it dragged in a few places, but overall not the worst I have read. I am not a fan of cliffhangers and was not aware this one was or I would not have started it. If the books were longer, then I might of considered it but it is drawn out over 5 books?? and you have to pay for the last 4?? No thank you. I read synopsis for the other 4 and it seems like this couple goes through alot of drama to get to their HEA. Not my thing, sounds like it could have been shortened into one or maybe two books with less drama. Just know you have been warned if you are not a cliff hanger and multi book fan.

It is different from most of Crystal’s stories but does not disappoint, quite the opposite actually. She dives deep into a not so discussed topic that I think should be discussed more and does an amazing job with it. Trent and Delilah’s story is so real and honest. It sucks you in wondering what caused her to leave and then you fall hard when you find out and just deepens your love for the characters. It’s much different from the fall hard rock stars and tattoo artist stories, which I love. It’s much more deep and you get so much more story line with the bouncing back and forth from past to present. A lot of authors can not transition well with that but Crystal obviously knows what she is doing there.

I didn’t realize that this story could get any better but I was so wrong. Listening to it makes it so much better! I fell in love with Ryan and Leighton’s story. What can be better than best friends becoming more? Nothing! They struggle to deal with their feelings and other outside situations. A must read!!

I received an ARC and this is my honest review. Walker and Iris’s story is deep and so amazing. I love how Crystal makes you feel everything along with the characters. You feel their pain, happiness and love through her writing. They struggle like everyone in life trying to find themselves and find their place. Kai and Wen step the characters up with their vocals creating a whole new experience from just reading the book. A Must Listen!

I loved reading the book and was a little worried about the audio book since you never know if the narrators will bring the characters to life like you hope. You don't have to worry with this audio! I loved how it had both a male and female voice for the characters. I always love reading Crystal's books but listening to them is awesome! Enjoy!
