Narration was THE BEST

I always like TL Swan’s writing. It’s engaging, believable, and her characters are well developed.
Her change to duet narration is a step up. Her writing is so much better with this format.
Love the narrators. They both did a great job with accents, distinction between characters. The producers did a great job of flow between narrators- it seemed much more natural than other diet and multi-performer audiobooks.
Keep it coming!

Love the duet performance

After six books, the author finally took the hint to reduce the overused word “sardonic”. Maybe it’s not noticeable when reading, but sticks out when listening, especially when it’s used inappropriately.
This is the second time I’ve listened to this series. This book is written better than the previous books.

Great performance and story

I wish all audiobooks were duet narration. It just brings the story to life so much better! The story was excellent as well. Not too complex, not too simplistic. Characters were well developed and I found them very interesting and ultimately I liked them.

FMC is not credible

You can’t be that stupid and naive, and challenging and questioning at the same time. Talk about the stereotypical blonde in a horror flick. After a while, I thought this was a satire like “Scary Movie”.
Awful.

Rory not my fave

After reading the previous books in the Rook and Ronin saga, I expected better from Rory.
Her headspace talks sounded like she was an airhead, and not someone “in” on the plan. She didn’t seem to have any plan at all according to her inner monologue.
So this one didn’t live up to its predecessors in the series.
