dnf
Revisado: 05-29-24
I get it lit rpg is an effective way to explain magic as just part of the game. but that's the thing this author hasn't done that what's more is the book is third person written with first person dialect. that just doesn't work. you could be the most famous author still would be a dnf.

Reidon Ward will become a god. He doesn't know it yet, of course. Reidon was born weak, sickly, and small. Afflicted with a painful disease and abandoned by his parents because of it, he has had to fight tooth and nail for every minor advantage life has allowed him. However, his perseverance has not gone unnoticed, and when the most powerful artificial intelligence in human history takes an interest in him, things began to change quickly.

great book maybe give it time to develop more
Revisado: 09-25-23
I found this book on the progression fantasy reddit while this book was amazing. it has a key flaw. It's GOOD like really good, like minimum a tear, maybe a tier book. aside from having an underdog protagonist and a complex character tree. Its antagonist tree seems to be an idealistic pier group for the book, and something greater for the series is hinted at.
to summarize great books with very promising characteristics that need time to grow in future books.

Historia
In an era in which ancient gods live in the world’s cities together with their mortal followers, forming tight-knit guilds and powerful temples, the disfigured ash-caster and blacksmith Hineni has lived his entire life as a reclusive outcast. Hidden away behind layers of clothing and just as many walls and doors, he only ever leaves the house in the dead of night, so that neither the gods or anyone else can ever see him. However, on one of these night-tide outings, he finds that has gained the unwanted attention of what is seemingly a perfectly normal owl.

struggles of love
Revisado: 08-25-23
this is a book that simply does not hold my interest enough for me to make the effort to finish the last 6 hours or so. if you want to read a book where the only progress is personal to the main character while reading in 3rd person, go ahead. then the narrative this narrator being female while the main protagonist is male simply doesn't fit. by all means, if the majority of the dialog was female have a female narrator. the male voices lacked.
overall desire for a bigger cast and 3rd limited is just sad. female voice to mostly male character dialog be lacking

the end of one man's story, the start of another.
Revisado: 06-11-23
where one story must come to an end. It often spells the start of many more to come. this series will spark has and will spark the joy of readers and listeners for long times to come. the ranking of this book has gone above and beyond the scope of simple enjoyment reaching to the heavens and acquiring the rank of ss teir. spoilers alerts. my favorite parts of this book is a call back to the previous book with the joy icon. as well as well as what all linden brings with him when he chooses to ascend. while I will ravish a new book or series that you spark off this one. part of me hopes you don't. as you are probably most aware of all of us, there is only so much fruit to pick before planting a new seed becomes required. I hope the best for you maybe I'll pick up anther of your works another day best of luck.
sincerely a loyal listener.

you already know what to expect let's start a talk
Revisado: 05-09-23
I'm not sure if it's the narrators voice or the voice of the author, but something has me tuning out the storyline. another side note why could the guy not just give him a button that targets the main character that's trapped in the game to log him out? it was my understanding that the system administrator's problem was that they could not target him that it was the only problem to overcome.

made it this far then you already know
Revisado: 07-21-22
So far in this story this author has not disappointed me yet with the level of world building he has been able to do, and while realistic expectations have to be kept for story progression reasons if nothing else. This book has seemed to ultimately lack the feeling of a real ginunin conflict and do more catching up to keep with progression lines. before this book there was a ton of build up but it always felt like the main group of characters where hanging on by the thinnest of threads. On the other hand this book gives the impression as if they are merely going thru the motions. As if all the conflicts are just things one has to check off the list before departing. I would rate there achievements for them at least in the same line as, did you remember to feed the dog, did you remember to lock up, your sure you have everything packed for the trip, did you kill all the dread gods so they don't kill the puppy while were gone. not saying its not a great achievement its just lacks the ramp up of the previous books. the weight that was required honestly might not be something of concern in this book. It might be that these really are the type of things on their check lists that they are taking care of before they ascend to the heavens. It might honestly be that these people really are playing on the same level as the rulers of cradle and are just cleaning up before they depart. It is just that I missed the escalation of the characters struggle. the curse of the op main characters. So it sure is a damned good thing it will not last too much longer.

Historia
For recently expelled college dropout Dirk Wilson, picking up and re-selling other player's scraps from cleared dungeons and side quests gone sideways is the only thing keeping him from living on the streets. Tired of ramen noodles, past-due notices, and feeling like his future is over before it ever started, Dirk decides that if he's going to make something of himself, it'll be within the game, taking advantage of the real-life payouts from selling in-game goods on King's League's River Market. But the game leaves little margin for error, and Dirk's virtual problems grow.

I got 2 hours in and I was frustrated with this book because I have no clue on the way the game map is layed out in the slightest bit past some vague points about multiple maps a few non pvp zones. basically the barebones. stop standing still and write a damned story.

voice is very monotone story is sub par at best
Revisado: 11-01-21
the story has no new ideas the thing I find fascination in most stories that I would recommend is being able to do the same style of writing while also being able to bring new ideas forth and making the genere your own. this is something that is very hard to do as a writer, but something that is done by books like emerilia, super powered, cradle. and harry potter just to name a few examples.
