This is just an introduction. I didn’t realize this when I downloaded it. I would really like to have read the unabridged complete book via Audible. Just be aware so you don’t pay for something that you’re not going to get. Otherwise, it’s fabulous.

It would have been five stars.

And I purchased this audiobook with the assumption that it was the complete text of the written version. It is not. It is profoundly edited and truncated. Additionally, even though the principles are contained herein, the detail and some of the background as well as chapter layout does not appear to be. You would do well to listen to this over and over, but you would do better to read the actual text. Still and yet, exceptional content. Exceptional principles. And totally worthwhile.

Historia
In her memoir, a work of deep reflection and mesmerizing storytelling, Michelle Obama invites listeners into her world, chronicling the experiences that have shaped her - from her childhood on the South Side of Chicago to her years as an executive balancing the demands of motherhood and work to her time spent at the world's most famous address. With unerring honesty and lively wit, she describes her triumphs and her disappointments, both public and private, telling her full story as she has lived it - in her own words and on her own terms.

Interesting perspective
Revisado: 10-18-19
I opted to listen to Michelle Obama‘s autobiography in an effort to understand where she came from and what motivated her as eventual wife of the president. I appreciated her humble beginnings, the description of where she came from, how hard she worked and how she succeeded through personal effort, education and support by family and friends. However, once she finally starts describing the politics at higher levels, it became apparent that she demonstrates some character traits of many liberals of the day. She is excepting as long as you agree with her philosophies. I also felt discriminated against and stereotyped, even marginalized because I am neither female nor a minority. I found this a bit ironic. In the end, I am glad I listened to the book. In spite of differing political ideologies, I feel that both she and President Obama were dignified in their deportment as they represented our country. I appreciated their family values and their commitment to their objectives for America. I merely disagreed with some of those objectives. It was worth the time listening though.

Inspiring but should be rated R
Revisado: 09-28-19
The story of Elon musk and his ascension two levels of success rarely appreciated in the world history is truly inspiring. The performance was excellent by the person reading and the storyline was exceptional. Be aware however that the text should be rated R with the number of F bombs. If you are comfortable with language you will most assuredly enjoy the ride. If you are not comfortable with language, the story is still inspiring in spite of being hit in the face by anF bomb ping-pong paddle on a regular basis.

Exceptional
Revisado: 03-30-19
I thoroughly enjoyed the story. It was heartwarming and insightful as well as educational. I’m sure there was some artistic license taken but if all facts were based on history as stated it brought out the human side of Marie Curie. My only regret was that it was too short and had not enough detail. Most definitely worthwhile.
