Wonderful outstanding adventure. Can’t say too much because I’ve listened to the following next two books already.

The last of the three of this volumes 1-3, Three Times Dead (or something) was a title I missed originally. I thought I had listened to the first three. I was wrong. It was just volumes 1 and 2, and then I ended up listening to volume 4 and 5. (Which are fantastic.)

So, listening to the third book in this omnibus (of volumes 1-3) just put into perspective the things I wondered about listening to volume 4 and 5.

I couldn’t understand why Captain Martin and Wesley were separated. And then, who is Sarah Camden? And because it had been many many months I had listened to the audiobook with only 2 volumes (volumes 1 and 2) I assumed certain details had simply escaped me.

So, I decided to re-listen to the audiobook I now realize only had volumes 1 and 2.

So, I purchased the omnibus with the first 3 volumes, and jumped to listening to volume 3 immediately.

Again, having listened to the following two volumes (4 and 5) and then going back to volume 3 (which I never listened to) HEAVY REVY!

Wow.

Excellent work guys. Excellent work.

Don’t listen out of order like I did. Just start with volume 1 all the way to volume 6.

I haven’t listened to 6 yet. I’ll re-listen to some of volumes 4 and 5 till I feel like I have enough of the volumes in me.

This omnibus of volumes 1, 2, and 3 is worth your credit, or outright $ purchase. Get it. Then get omnibus containing volumes 4, 5, and 6.

¡Ciao!

Just finished listening to the title. Wow, guys. Just wow. You guys didn’t pull any punches.

I like Lucy. I was hoping for things for her. A spin off? Maybe a novella?

Love the Brit team. Ray is excellent with ALL the accents!

Love Saw. I feel better about him now.

The mentoring coming from Bowman, are things…I think it was talking to me. Somehow.

And the way you guys ended it, emotive. But, the way it needed to be. Maybe work brother and sister in upcoming titles in this series?

At first, I didn’t like Lucy (in previous title where she was introduced). This installment, I really like her. And she’s so beautiful. I could really see her hair and beautiful face. Precious.

Be nice to see some of these British counterparts. You know? Just like you guys did with Keith “Chunk” Redman, Riker, Trip, and Saw in the TIER ONE series.

Don’t think I gave away any spoilers. Even provided a misdirection.

This title was a fun, emotional, and an action filled thriller. Love it. Wish it didn’t end.

Ciao.

Good. But not the best. No reader/listener engagement.

The setup was sad. Everything was just told to you; who the players are. There’s no invitation to figure out who the bad guys are, the good guys, and what the plot is. These things need to be revealed in order to draw out reader/listener engagement.

Otherwise, it’s a fair story. After about 8 hours of listening, things got interesting for me.

Multiple times I wanted to stop listening during that 8 hour period, but I pushed through. Or listened to another title, and returned to this one later.

Would I recommend this title? No. I’m kind of glad it’s over. Again, the title was weak—for me—for must of the time, but when pieces started coming together, on the good guy’s side, it started to pickup. Got more interesting.

Enjoy.

Anna’s toughest assignment, and probably the most dangerous yet. Ends well, and redeems the series. (Spoiler somewhat.)

Thoroughly enjoyed. Formalistic as the preceding books in the series, but fun.

Now I see the wisdom of having a certain event that happened in one of the preceding titles in the series. Had wondered why go in such detail, when I was expecting a cursory approach.

In that previous title with the defining event (which really is second to Anna’s origin story at the start of the series) bothered me at first. I was wondering why it was even in there. Well, in this last title in the series I clearly understand why. And it was rewarding. And it produced tears at more than one interval.

The only thing I didn’t like in this final installment, was how it ended.

All the other titles in the series had something of a happy/feel-good epilogue. Like at the end of STAR WARS “A New Hope.” A little celebration. An intimate time with Anna and her mother “Alexa.” (Which that name/word was a bit of persistent irritation because it set off my Amazon Echo devices in the house that have the wake word “Alexa” active!)

Anyway, I was expecting a happy celebratory experience at the very end. It didn’t. It just concluded with what would be a phone call in our time, or a text message. No drinking drinks, or cheering, or eating with laughter and warm hearts abounding.

I was looking for that.

Oh well, I enjoyed this entire series, and especially this last title in the series because it was redeeming from a certain prior event in Anna’s history. Those of you who have read/listened to the prior titles in the series can properly infer what I’m referring to.

I’m going to miss Red; no more books in the series. Never thought I’d miss a venomous snake, or have fond thoughts of one.

Cheers, y’all.

Little bit of Firefly. Add in some Farscape. A nice serving of Star Trek, and some Melchiorri magic!

Fun ride! A plurality of species. A satisfying ending. A throwback to Star Trek, and some weed. Seriously, weed.

Anthony J. Melchiorri, thank you for writing such an enjoyable title. The joy and happiness, is a dish well received. Cheers!

At first, I wondered if this was even real, quantum interference. As with any fiction, you have to understand the rules of the world, and then follow the narrative according to those rules. When the author started breaking down the science, it wasn’t enough.

I did a Google search. Watch some YouTube videos to get a little bit of understanding. Admittedly, there are aspects of quantum mechanics that I don’t get. However, I can suspend reason, and just posit concepts, and move forward.

I don’t get the “spin” of a particle. I don’t even know how scientists have determine there is a spin to a particle. (As I understand it, this isn’t the vibration we’re told all matter has; it’s something else. Unless I misunderstood the videos.)

After my limited research on quantum interference, I returned to the book. Having a better understanding did help the enjoyment level, being a sci-fi fan.

Somethings in the title almost prompted a coo in awe of a speculative visualization of what quantum interference might look like if our science was there, as it is in the book.

Then something is revealed, which isn’t bad. And something else revealed. And more stuff comes out. And again, they’re not bad. And the story ends.

I like how it ended, but it wasn’t full circle. There was a statement made more than once, which did come full circle, and that was sweet. That was nice. Heartwarming.

However, I still felt a bit bait-and-switched. Disappointed, in another aspect of the story that’s important to me.

I’m a fan of sci-fi, fantasy, action, thrillers for the most part. So, overall, the story was good, but disappointing because it didn’t sate my appetite’s expectation.

As I stated in the heading, this work is not my typical listen. Because of that and coupled with my lack of interest (because it’s not an emotional escape title in action and adventure) I was challenged in rating it.

I want to be fair. I didn’t want to rate the title poorly because it’s not my cup of tea, so-to-speak.

So I’ve attempted to rate this title as I’d imagine someone who likes this genre. Yes, a bit of speculation on my part.

I will say, this title is very thought provoking. The production OUTSTANDING. The acting, AMONG THE BEST, both primary actors! They were truly in sync. And the texture of Nana’s and Raúl‘s voices, exquisite.

And the title ended on a sad note, for me, being an escapist listener.

Oh, and the writing, phenomenal!

Cheers!

For me, it started a little slow, but that’s ok. I decided to be patient. The reward was anticipated, based on the reviews I read.

Title provides a little window into college life. Very little. Funny, as the story progressed, tactical language began to creep in. Started reminding me of Brian Andrew’s work. Co-author of the TIER ONE series. More interesting, it’s the same narrator, too. The voice of Dempsey, is Richard in this title. And the women started sounded like Elisabeth Grimes. Later I began to pick up on distinction and was able to discern which woman character was speaking.

Favorite characters? Bill and Monica. Enjoy the listen! It’s really a fun ride.
