Have you ever taken notice of the soft, delicious glow of a chocolate bar left too long in a car during summertime? Or perhaps the way a candy Easter Bunny gets “all over everything” if held too long between bites? All chocolatey and messy, but tasty and fantastic. I remember how unwilling I was to stop until all that sweet, brown goodness had been fully enjoyed.

Davis of the deepest chocolate is a tasteful take on the beauty of blackness with each word encouraging and empowering the black woman. Black women of all ages should stop and listen, every word is a compliment to black skin that every black woman should hear. How often is she praised not enough but here you are filled.
