Historia
With Hegel, philosophy became very difficult indeed. His dialectical method produced the most grandiose metaphysical system known to man. Even Hegel conceded that "only one man understands me, and even he does not." Hegel's system included absolutely everything, but its most vital element was the dialectic of the thesis, antithesis, and synthesis. This method sprang from Hegel's ambition to overcome the deficiencies of logic and ascended toward mind as the ultimate reality.

Funnier and more engaging than one would expect
Revisado: 11-29-21
worth 90 minutes. It's frightening how much of the catastrophic events of the 20th century were influenced by this crazy little man.

Celebration of Sociopathy
Revisado: 11-28-21
I had the thought that the author was idealizing sociopathy. Then I heard the following quote late in the book, "a Cleaner [the idealized archetype of the book] views other people as tools, to be used and disregarded as he needs them.". That's pretty much textbook diagnostic criteria of a sociopath. And he's absolutely correct, some of the most successful people in every walk of life, politicians, CEOs, military commanders are, in fact, sociopaths. If this is what you aspire to. then this is your book.

Historia
In a scrap heap within an abandoned factory, the greatest invention in history lies dormant and unused. By what fatal error of judgment has its value gone unrecognized, its brilliant inventor punished rather than rewarded for his efforts? In defense of those greatest of human qualities that have made civilization possible, one man sets out to show what would happen to the world if all the heroes of innovation and industry went on strike.

Great ideas, But in need of an editor
Revisado: 11-24-21
I understand now how this is the second most influential book in history after the Bible. at least in the Western world. I just really wish an editor had taken a red pen to about 300 pages of it

Historia
Extreme success, by definition, lies beyond the realm of normal action. If you want to achieve extreme success, you can’t operate like everybody else and settle for mediocrity. You need to remove luck and chance from your business equation, and lock in massive success. The 10X Rule shows you how!

Tedious
Revisado: 09-08-21
there's actually some really good information. But to get to it, you have to sift through a bunch of hyperbolic, boombastic b*******. The title itself, the 10x rule refers to the opt repeated suggestion that you need to work 10 times harder. to me, that's about as nails-on-the-chalkboard tripe as "give it 110%.". when your central thesis is literally mathematically impossible, it's difficult to take the rest of it terribly seriously.
