Fantastic Book! OK narrator

I absolutely love this story, possibly my favorite in the MHI universe. Love the depth we get to see in European monsters world, some more on Julie's curse and a whole lot of her being totally BA.
Only failing for this audiobook is the narrator is just ok, maybe a bit of a disappointment. First, she doesn't sound [I]Julie[/I] to me, and often feels a bit bland and monotone. Plus her voicing of Mr Trash Bags is just all wrong and doesn't do that awesome character justice.
My recommendation is to just read the book, though the audiobook is perfectly serviceable.

Great Story - terrible narration.

It's a crying shame the narration is downright unlistenable (seems like a made up word to me) considering the story itself is a great military thriller.
I had gotten the audiobook to listen to while driving and failed to make it through the prologue due to the narrator. I then bought the book and read it basically in a night, then read the rest of the series.
so, save your ears and just buy the book.
