So, I love Felicia Day's work, and I was excited to listen to this when it was released. But I held off (you know, trying to be responsible and finishing things on my list that I haven't gotten to yet). I finally decided to get this book started and OH MY GOODNESS!!! I was in my own nerdy heaven. First, I love how some authors are creating a full audio production with a full (amazing) cast and sound effects/music that really add to the fantasy. This takes soooo much additional work by all parties and I really appreciate the result. This was so much fun.

I also didn't expect Neil Gaiman to be in this (I know, he's listed in the cast). I'm used to listening to him read his own work in his own voice. It was SO MUCH FUN to listen to him narrate in Felicia Day's voice.

That's another thing, the story was excellent, and it was also FUN to listen to. Like, you can almost hear the fun that went into writing and performing this. So, thank you to Felicia Day for having a super great comedic voice and to all the performers for making the fun really come to life.

The only thing that I would critique is that there is not MORE content. Seriously, I would be willing to go full season eleven season, 20 episodes each season, hour-long episode binge mode (I know - it's a comedy, so it would be half-hour episodes, and I'm not trying to give anyone more to do, but you get what I'm saying).

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that this is a great read if you like comedy, a full-cast reading, and fantasy that avoids any of the typical cliches. Listen to this book!

There were so many things I loved about this audiobook! The author had a great way of bringing all of the best mysteries of London together, and the narrator brought the mystery to life!

I would recommend this audiobook to any theatre/Shakespeare/crime lover. The author does an especially great job of describing each famed Shakespearian location so it feels as though you are there. My mind was blown by the research she must have done to create the finer details surrounding this multi-layered mystery.

The narrator made listening so much fun! I found myself lost in the characters and excited to listen on any chance I had!!

I recommend!
