First it sounds like he’s drunk. Second, he doesn’t even try to give the characters their own voices. His narration really distracted from the book.

For a book that touts women breaking glass ceilings, the protagonist is a bit wishy washy. I felt like she needed smelling salts. It was also quite predictable. Nice for an easy summer read though.

Besides predictability this book was very antiwoman. The protagonist was guided by bad decisions when she is supposed to be intelligent. She is a horrible mother, she let’s people push her around and she losing all sense when a man smiles at her, like she is in high school. Stupid and degrading

The narration really took away from the book. Sometimes she sounded like the narration was automated.
Story good for a typical summer read but too much graphic sex for my taste. Also, the women were too needy.
