The narrator taking deep breaths with audible swallowing really was annoying. Abby Craden is one of my favorite narrators but it was just too much.

I admit I was so close to not finishing this book. Olivia was too much for me to handle. The constant negativity. " I don't do that," I'm not changing for anyone, etc. Almost the whole book I'm yelling "how do you expect to be in a relationship if your not willing to compromise"!!Never have I read or listened to a book when the main character irritated me the entire book, but I like Maries character so I surged forward. Abby Craden of course was A plus narrator. The book was well written as always with Harper Bliss and I think it will be well received, just be prepare to be irritated.

Spoiler- I give it a 4 instead of 5 because the ending was absolutely stupid. Ryan couldn't even buy his child a piece of chocolate because they are so poor, but when he has the chance to win the money or the house after rightfully exposing people that were actually cheating and murdering, he puts himself on some type of moral high ground about feeling bad because he exposed everyone. So he rewards all the cheaters with the house and all the money and he leaves with nothing? Mind you he is the only one that wasn't cheating!!!Absolutely unbelievable and ridiculous ending you don't reward liars and cheaters and be ok going home poor

Wow great story and narration. I can honestly say I was totally devastated by that ending I didn't see that coming at all, I was speechless and heartbroken.

The story was very good but the narrator was absolutely horrible which almost made the story unbearable. Horrible accents, horrible inflections, and long pauses throughout the entire story. I'm starting to believe the only criteria to be a narrator is that you know how to read . The fact this was edited and passed through is a bewilderment.

the story was good but I thought the narrator was awful and it took me a long time to get through it. I left it for so long I actually forgot it was in my library. I would love to hear the sequels but I can't deal with the narrator for another book.

I was so absolutely bored with this story that I couldn't wait for it to end. I struggled not to fall asleep through it every time I listened to it.
