This is a fun book about video games. While the book is very interesting, I think it's the narrator is the best part of the audiobook. The narrator, Matt Hicks has such an enthusiastic way of reading the book. I'm taking a class in video game design but am not a big gamer. I wanted to learn more about the topic and got a bunch of books on video games from Audible to listen to during my commute. I just love how much fun this book was to listen to and the insights into the gaming industry along with how to make games better for the player.

Brilliant little podcasts are full of motivation. I've listened to them multiple times and found new things each time. Thank you, Mel Robbins.

Self-important professor's boring theory

A book about the threat of a dangerous superintelligence should at least be interesting. This book takes me back to my college days where I needed 3 Red Bulls not to fall asleep in class. It's one professor's theory about the threat of AI that he admits doesn't exist yet but he can fill a 14-hour audiobook with his theories. I tried to return this but waited too long so I'm stuck with it. So I'm giving it a well-deserved 1-star review.

The best Exforce book yet. The series keeps getting better and better. RC Bray is at his best and I can't wait to find out what happens in the next book!

The Singularity Trap isn't as good as the Bobiverse books but it's better than 90% of the sci-fi audiobooks on Audible. Don't hesitate, use the credit, enjoy the book. The combination of Dennis Taylor and Ray Porter makes for a very enjoyable listening experience.

This an excellent book and the narration by Jason Isaacs is fantastic- only the subject matter is weighty. The book deals with a boy dealing with anticipatory grief for his terminally ill mother. While it's a beautiful story, it's hard to listen to during the commute to and from work. I lost my mother as a child and while I eventually did finish the book, it brought up a lot of difficult feelings for me I wasn't expecting from a children's book.

I don't get the rave reviews. The book is okay but feels derivative of all the popular YA sci-fi novels. Kept listing hoping it would get better but it didn't. Not bad, but not great.

My kids really liked this book. There's not much for adults, but it kept my 7 and 10-year old entertained. The issue we had with this audiobook was the main narrator sounding like a mom reading a story. It felt out of place with the rest of the cast recording. I feel like if the main narrator were a younger voice actor it would have been a better audiobook, as the story is from the point of view of a young boy. It's a good story. Both of my kids would have prefered to read the book then listen to the audiobook, which was a shame because the rest of the cast is quite good.

This book lost me when the author claimed eye floaters are caused by anxiety. If you enjoy the reading of lists and completely non-medical based nonsense, this book is for you.

Ignore the critics. Valkyrie is amazing. I’d prefer the book to have not ended w such a cliffhanger but I do know when book 10 comes out, I’ll be staying up to immediacy download and listen to it. I love these characters and am completely emotionally invested in the ExForce books and that’s due to the talent of Craig Alanson. I trust him to tell the story. The first 9+ books have been one heck of a ride.
