Wonderful, Excellent Material
Revisado: 07-12-23
I like the down to earth, common sense information. The reader is pleasant to listen to, and the enunciation is very user-friendly. It speaks to the average person who probably believes that she already has enough water intake, but does not realize that coffee, tea and other caffeine laden drinks with their diuretic properties, leave the body at
a true water deficit.

Historia
In my book, you will meet a little girl named Viola who ran from her past until she made a life-changing decision to stop running forever. This is my story, from a crumbling apartment in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to the stage in New York City, and beyond. This is the path I took to finding my purpose but also my voice in a world that didn’t always see me.

It Reads Like a Performance That Only Knows One Speed
Revisado: 02-22-23
I like the actor—she has tremendous talent and is a beautiful woman and person. Unfortunately, for me, her story did not come across as authentic— more hyperbole than-true-to-life. It’s not that it’s unbelievable that the events described did happen —to a great extent—but many times it felt like much was “ overly dramatized” and that took away from some of the believability—such as—her father beating her mother with a 2x4 “all night long” and Mom continuing to survive—Much of it “ gave me pause. I also grew up in poverty and lived with rats and mice, but the constancy of tragedy portrayed—was disengaging.

Great “read” ...Definitely worth a “re-read!”
Revisado: 10-09-18
I liked the detail… I liked the scientific studies… I liked the practical information… I like the fact that the author himself has struggled with over eating… I like the fact that he shows that answers are available… Even though the path is not that easy… I have read this book at least twice, and I see myself coming back to it again… Especially after I have digested more of the content and made personal applications. Five stars for sure!***** The reader is quite good…As with most audible books as well as many audio blogs, I find I had to listen to it on 1.25 speed… Because the 1X is always too slow for my particular taste.
