I loved Romance Scams for several reasons. It was a realistic approach to weeding out people quickly before they take root in your heart.
The book doesn't say don't take part in online dating or social forums, because let's face it, these forms are not going away.
However, what Vivian does is give you the knowledge to spot pink/ red flags and the permission to walk away with your dignity and money intact.
Also, I have always thought of these scammers as thugs well versed in stealing from people. But the book shows the scammers are sometimes college educated people trying to earn a living. Also, there are classes they take to learn how to scam.

You do not owe anyone anything when they call you dear or honey.
The book really sounds down how educated these people are at going for your weakness, so they can gain control over your savings.
According to this book, these scammers use advertising techniches to sell themselves to you for their own selfish gain.
Thank you Vivian for this eye opening book. Most sincere people look for the good in others, but you teach some other traits which shouldn't be ignored.
I will never look at a profile the same.
