It is a very intriguing story with fantastic characters!
Revisado: 07-15-24
The part that I dislike about this series is the amount of sexual content involved. Thankfully it does not go into super explicit detail, but it is still plenty for the imagination.

Historia
Sci-fi's favorite antisocial AI is back on a mission. The case against the too-big-to-fail GrayCris Corporation is floundering, and more importantly, authorities are beginning to ask more questions about where Dr. Mensah's SecUnit is. And Murderbot would rather those questions went away. For good. Martha Wells' Rogue Protocol is the third in the Murderbot Diaries series, starring a humanlike android who keeps getting sucked back into adventure after adventure, though it just wants to be left alone, away from humanity and small talk.

Good plot, bad relationships
Revisado: 03-12-24
I disliked the relationship status of this futuristic reality. Having multiple marital partners or gay or lesbian status is not ok, and it should not ever be portrayed as ok or normal!
Overall story and performance was good though, so I am looking forward to the next book.

Voices of characters

The performance was good, but it seemed that the voices of the characters got mixed up at times. I was able to just follow along, but it was hard.

I don’t like the mess she made for herself this time. She really owes the sheriff. Big time! I hope she mends the bridge in the following book.

I am hooked
Revisado: 05-17-23
I was intrigued by the plot of the book. The main characters are assassins, and typically people characters you would not see much of in any other book.
The story was good and was performed well!
There is some slight foul language and implications of sexual abuse and sexual interaction between random characters that don’t matter too much to the story line.
Beyond that, I am planning on listening to the next book, as this one ended in a tight situation.

It was a beautiful love story!
Revisado: 03-22-23
It was a beautiful love story, with a spy and a lady of wealth set in the 1800s!
Some action is involved with a bit of suspense.
Two people that deserved each other for a change!
There could have been more details in the backstory of the gent and the bad guys.
All in all, a clean story with a healthy dose of romance and some nasty criminals!
I enjoyed the read!

Filled in gaps
Revisado: 02-03-23
I’ve read the Ranger’s apprentice books, and loved them! I was always a little curious about the beginning though, and the battle surrounding Hackham Heath. This book fills in the gaps in the storyline and introduces you to most of the main characters that show up in the future. Also shows how the characters came to be such good friends with each other.
Very well orchestrated, and very intriguing!

Gays in the 1920’s?!?!
Revisado: 01-23-23
Come on!
I was very excited to read this book. I love fantasy and some historical fiction, so when I saw that this book was both, it was very intriguing.
The story was well put together in an interesting way, and the voice was very interesting to listen to.
However, I was not pleased to begin reading about the not so subtle hints about gay and lesbian attractions! I Do not read books about long ago to hear about modern day philosophy!
I will not tolerate this in the books I read, and I will fight for good reading material wherever I can find it!
To the author- You are a talented writer, and have picket an equally talented voice to read your books. Do not throw away your talent by writing nonsense and garbage!!
I will read your next book, but it had better be free of such things as gay and lesbian behavior and vocabulary! This is your final chance to make a good impression!
