Perfectly imperfect
Revisado: 05-01-24
With lives that are not so cut and dry we find the lady rapper and the hockey captain falling in love and being the support they each will need along the way to their happily ever after. Guest appearances by some of our favorite characters adds to the humor and ohhh snap moments of the overall story.

Blue’s story
Revisado: 05-12-22
I enjoyed that I got her story after reading The Ethic and Butterfly series. I was so torn as Blue spiraled out of control and became something she was not. The narrator, however l, made it hard to completely enjoy the story.

Historia
Yinka’s Nigerian aunties frequently pray for her delivery from singledom, her work friends think she’s too traditional (she’s saving herself for marriage!), her girlfriends think she needs to get over her ex already, and the men in her life…well, that’s a whole other story. But Yinka herself has always believed that true love will find her when the time is right.

Just be yourself
Revisado: 02-24-22
I loved this book. From the beginning I felt for Yinka. I laughed along at times, wanted to cry of embarrassment for her and cheered for her along the way. The story was well written and allowed me to see the story unfold. I would recommend this book to those who enjoy a feel good story with a little family drama and a little dating drama to pepper the storyline. The narrator was one that I will listen to again. She made the book that much more enjoyable!
