Keeps me giving a care below the ninth level of creation.
Revisado: 03-01-25
Amazing audio drama. Not a book, author has done well with their helpers for the demonic realms.
Not many other audiobook series have had me wanting sequels nearly as badly.
The main character never humiliates themselves, never sacrifices care for their own beliefs, or acts ignorant for the sake of the storyline.
I see series and spirit cores raining down upon this great work of fiction that keeps me enthralled, as long as you stay true to what you have done so far.
Not selling presale’s dates until you know when they will happen.
If I buy a(n audio)book to be released on the 23rd , but is changed to one month later?
No, I paid for a pre-release for this date. Meaning I should get it or you are…. Filling in blanks.
Like cows grazing fill in grass.
Please keep your amazing books pure from manipulating managers trying to change public publishing times after fans who paid for such so far.

Expanded from the anime and I enjoyed it! First half
Revisado: 02-23-25
I do not listen to female only audio book narrations for a very specific reason. Male and female vocal tones are in completely different pitch as men age. They cannot hear the pitch that women speak so everything that was said in the second half of this book which I only listened to a little bit of because I couldn’t stand how it was chosen to be done, was disregarded and droned on in the background of my consciousness.
Great if you want to start with a women narrating, but never do such a jarring disrespect for a story/narrations as to force YOUR listeners to change common emotions felt through pitch and narrations as a male and female have while telling a story. Especially to people who actually paid directly for your content.
Would love to find out if it was corrected in the second volume but never will.
Amazing writing, story telling… lacking in the ability to tell others no and to keep true to yourself.
Could you feel close to the narration that was in another gender than your own? …. Of god…
Is that why? You think it is yours now?

Not sure what took me so long to listen to this great series, but I remember seeing the art for the cover and thinking that looks good. Brought it from my wish list to reality. Very glad I did and sad that it’s over. I would highly recommend anybody who likes sci-fi even isakai adventures to listen.
Love it all the more because of the amazing bargain it was, 4 books for the price of one!
Now to explore other titles by this talented author.

Historia
Ashlock wakes in the courtyard of a demonic sect... as a tree. A tree that eats people. An odd start to a new life. Almost as strange as the humans flying through the skies on flaming swords and challenging the heavens. After all, this is a world where humans could chase the goal of immortality through the art of cultivation. But Ashlock is merely a sapling in a desolate courtyard, left alone with his thoughts and unable to speak to those passing him by. Unless he does something about it.

Amazing book and have listened 2… ok 3 times
Revisado: 01-16-25
The story is amazing. The progression is consistent. The first book in the second book are generously long and I’ve listened to both of them multiple times.
After waiting for a few months, looking at the recent audiobooks, I’ve really enjoyed anticipating their next titles. I purchased the third installation of reborn as a demonic tree coming out on January 14 but after checking it multiple times, I realized that the date had been pushed off until February 25 After I had already purchased the title and each consecutive title has been split from 2 books to three books, hour wise.
Was odd that a two volume series would put out the next three with purchase options available. Bought the third and when it came time to listen on January 14th. It changed, the day before, to another month out.
If you have organized releases so meticulously, and made the next two books into three (understandably-ish for profits) never ever do what you did and falsely advertise a book your fans paid in advance for only to change literaly at the last minute.
If AI is preventing at filling time and space in the next installment vol 3, I’ll get a refund and never buy another title from you again.
You should enjoy your well earned profit and acclaim from the first two audio books but divert into what other subpar audio books do and generate diologe to fill unproductive gaps in story line or to just add extra time, or ever delay a book after publishing a set deadline for the next years worth of content?
Not only I but many listeners/casual unpaid readers will disregard this as the success sold to another who milks its ideas for profit until it dies like so many others.
Please for the LOVE OF TREE stay true to yourself and the story.
Please? It’s so good.

Focus on MC and not speeding through but…
Revisado: 01-11-25
It is a very good audiobook with a great premise and storyline, but the author leans or is more propped up upon extra AI generated conversations that are meaningless between people in their world without adding any substance. It is merely just a filler in between the next action sequence. I really do like the book, bought the second one too.
As many times as Allen has said “what next?!?” Is about to make me gag.
Using a program to fill 3-4 hours of content without meaning through “and then they went, and now realizing , they said!” There is no need for such. Only using it to make the book longer. Author your better than that, narrow down your story and I don’t believe there would be a fan of any similar genre that could keep from bingeing every hour of you idea for the series.
Actions, consequences, events. That’s what keeps the page turning.
Excessive meaninglessness conversations leads to fans abandoning a good idea for a series.
Trim it down and believe In yourself.
It is good/great enough.
The Point of each scene, get to it, don’t milk it like… well whatever is milked.

Historia
A part of me wants to run away again. The memory of my death still haunts my dreams. But this is my home now. And I'll be damned if I give it up without a fight. I mean, all I have to do is learn how to navigate xianxia politics and train for battle while simultaneously running my farm and uncovering an ancient cataclysm that apparently destroyed the Azure Hills back in the day. Meanwhile, I'm about to be a father . . . Man, I'm kinda screwed, aren't I? At least I can call in the cavalry—ahem, poultry—to help.

Lack of the main characters…anything
Revisado: 12-22-24
You create a show that gets the audience to love the main character. He really is awesome. You’ve teased a little bit of the backstory you’ve given him amazing allies and then you stop talking or writing about that main character except every third or fourth chapter for a minute or two.
Don’t fear the ending of a great story, be more wary of turning a great story into a terrible one by adding books within that great book. Finish it, stick with Jen.
Then write about the zoo Zodiac.
Great writer said something like, flashbacks are lazy writing. You missed your chance for readers to care about something that happened 1-2 months ago.
Last one I will listen to more than likely unless the “feel good” (AI generated communication between side characters that was typed into a web page window) nonsense is toned down and more actual story progression with the real main focal character is refocused on.
Again make “the adventures of Chicken-Big D” as a follow up. But finish the story we have all enjoyed and paid for first, please.

Really enjoyed the story of randidly ghosthound.
Last few books have been the legends of randidly’s frenemy and bad manipulative friends. Fleshing out the ideas of characters newly created and unimportant.
Please just finish your great story instead of milking it for all it’s worth and BEYOND.

Earth seceded from its suzerains' state and declared independence. Naturally, such a bold move did not go unnoticed by its powerful neighbors in space, who had aggressive plans for the inhabitable yet overly self-reliant planet. With black clouds gathering and the term of safety growing ever shorter, positive lines of the probable future for Earth's humanity and its allies were nowhere to be seen despite all Gnat the Devourer's efforts and unique abilities.

Revisado: 10-25-24
I love the main character sometimes I don’t love his willful ignorance in things that he has the intellect to fully understand or other times that he fully submits and shows his belly to the aggressive women cast around him. Being cowed by the hope for sex, casting men as ignorant and women as stronger and smarter… well at least smarter.
What’s more frustrating is the plot lines running in the background that he just chooses to ignore and allows the females that are closest to them to manipulate to the best of their ability I promise you, they will stab him in the back most of them.

Aggressively intriguing story about a man…
Revisado: 10-24-24
That story, about a man is written by women undermining every decision and needing a council to balance out their weakness compared to overwhelming power.
I freaking love the book series but if my main keeps bowing down as “Lord” to be chastised and disrespected by women over and over then the random military characters, who at first he was cautionary against, is then talked up, manipulated or coerced by the exact same females that he thought he could trust this entire time. I just can’t stand to listen to anymore that not cutting nonsense.
