I hoped some changes would have been made after the overwhelming amount of fans telling you exactly who was cast wrong and of the 3 major bad castings (Orion, Darius and Geraldine) only one was fixed. I can live with the new Darius but he needs to research the character to do it justice. Geraldine is my favorite supporting character and she is not giving the respect she deserves and I can't listen to this current version in later books where she is flirting and has intimate scenes. Orion sounds like a middle aged man flirting with a teenage girl and it's uncomfortable to hear. The added dialogue is clumsy and doesn't fit, the amount of errors is shocking for a major studio and the final straw was the chapter where Darius is in dragon form and HE TALKS WTF, your interpretation of that scene (and many others)is so far off it literally ruins the book I love. I don't know if I can put myself through book 3 if this is how you disrespect this series.

what happens when you don't know the series you're portraying

I hate to beat a dead horse but I feel it's necessary. I love these books and have listened to them many times and bought physical copies because this is my favorite series but who edited this and said it was acceptable. The voices' of Darius, Orion, Washer and Geraldine are the worst offenders they clearly never read the books or know anything about the characters when they were cast and recorded, many of the times didn't match the situation, perfect example is the last chapter with Orion where he is supposed to be yelling and furious he's very nonchalant and doesn't change his tone like WTF. Diego is way too charming and confident for his character, professor prestos sounds much older and formal than she is described in later books. all in all of serious changes don't happen in the next book I'm not wasting my money again on this dumpster fire

could not turn it off I've never finished a book that fast while having a smile for most of it. Narrators were top notch you could feel the emotion 10/10 would listen again
