Historia
Does it seem like everything is moving so fast these days you can barely keep up? Do you sometimes feel that your life is spinning out of control? Most of us are so overwhelmed by the stuff in our daily lives -- work, bills, family commitments, demands from our kids' schools -- that we rush from person to person and place to place. For many of us, life feels completely out of balance because we give one area of our lives too much attention and the other areas nowhere near enough.

Very encouraging and helpful!
Revisado: 10-09-15
Perer Walsh has a very natural, easy style of communicating that makes me feel like he really understands and that I'm not alone in my shameful situation. His narration is easy to listen to and his ideas, so clear and concise, they bring me hope that I can accomplish this! His weatlth of knowledge and grasp of the underlying issues is demonstrated by his validation of not only the cluttered situation itself, but also the physical and emotional triggers which precipitated it in the first place. So much more than another "how to clean it up" book, it's a book about how it got that way in the first place and how to keep it from ever happening again! : )

Great Book!!!
Revisado: 10-03-15
If I had ONLY read it 20 years ago....
It would have saved my marriage!!!!
And I wouldn't be dealing with an Angry Teenage son right now...
I truly think it would benefit from some tweaking, republished re: marriage, so that men who never really grew up, but instead became narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths, could get an accurate diagnosis so that helpful info could be given to their wives, to protect their own kids from this insidious abuse.
Remarkable!

Historia
Despite constant efforts to declutter your home, do papers still accumulate like snowdrifts and clothes pile up like a tangled mess of noodles?Japanese cleaning consultant Marie Kondo takes tidying to a whole new level, promising that if you properly simplify and organize your home once, you'll never have to do it again. Most methods advocate a room-by-room or little-by-little approach, which doom you to pick away at your piles of stuff forever.

The narrator is SO bad, she sounds like a BOT
Revisado: 09-29-15
from a YouTube video. It's SO BAD that I can't even appreciate the content!!!!! And the way the author writes, (or because it's read so snottily) the writer sounds like a total narcissist too.. cutting others down, making snyde comments, etc. VERY off-putting!!! Especoally to someone who is already carrying so much shame from their untennable situation, caused by abuse and not her fault.. Listening to this book tempts me to make an inappropriate comment about how all oriental people think they are SO f-ing perfect and they are such snobs and malevolent toward orhers! Ugh, I'm listening to the book as I write this and it just gets WORSE!!! (still in the first chapter!!!))) :>:-(
I want my money back.

Calming??? OMG.... NOT! Terrible Narration
Revisado: 09-23-15
The narrator sounds like a cheerleader, INCREASING my stress, NOT decreasing it; talking SO fast, that I can''t even stay as calm as I was (n't), as the narration makes me MORE anxious.!!! Ugh. I want a refund.

Narration is a hair to fast...
Revisado: 09-16-15
I wish I could listen @ 0.75 instead of 1.0 (too fast) or 0.5 (too slow). Of course, perhaps this is only the result of my fried brain from more than 20 years of psychopathic torment and abuse... Excellent book!!! If I could afford to, I would deliver a stack of books to family court and educate the judicial branch so my life and my childrens' lives don't get completely screwed over by the spath in court, and to protect others from their abusers as well. Psychopaths are a scourge, like Ebola; covert, deadly, unrecognized until it's too late, reeking devestating, complete, total and utter destruction, death to the soul. Make a plan. Get out ASAP! ESPECIALLY FOR YOUR KIDS!!! THEY WILL GROW UP TO COPY THE ABUSER'S THINKING & BEHAVIOR!!! There is NO benefit in waiting! It will only get worse and more difficult to escape and still survive with your soul intact!!! They will never relinquish their control or stop their abuse. It's all a fun game to them and they will win by destroying you at all costs. They will never change. Instead, they will even continue their abuse through the courts! RUN FAST and RUN NOW! I wish I had!!!!!

Historia
Divorce is difficult under the best of circumstances. When your spouse has borderline personality disorder (BPD), narcissistic personality disorder (NPD), or is manipulative, divorcing can be especially complicated. While people with these tendencies may initially appear convincing and even charming to lawyers and judges, you know better - many of these "persuasive blamers" leverage false accusations, attempt to manipulate others, launch verbal and physical attacks, and do everything they can to get their way. Splitting is your legal and psychological guide to safely navigating a high-conflict divorce.

Really gets the point across...but after more than 20 years of abuse and still not finding a good pro bono attorney, the style of the narration left me feeling more intimidated, less protected, more vulnerable, more scared of my abuser and his attorney. I praise it for being very thorough, but it was very triggering for me to listen to. On top of that, it's left me feeling like I am totally under the gun to recreated everything on paper, repair lost and broken relationships, etc, overnight. These are things I have only a few weeks to do, to represent the over 20 years of horrible, soul-destroying abuse, and I'm not sure I can do it in this timeframe. DONT PASS UP THIS RESOURCE! LISTEN *NOW* AND BE PREPARED!!!! I just think it might benefit from being re-recorded, slightly softer... that's all. It really scared the hell out of my already scrambled, WAY over-andrenalinized, hypervigilant limbic system!!! AWESOME RESOURCE!!!!!
