Outstanding -- I'm hooked

The Kingdoms and the Elves series is as good as sci-fi gets! My only regret is waiting so long to go back and listen to it all again. Of the first two, this one is my favorite. This is a purchase in time and money you will not regret! The narrator is magnificent. If you are a huge fan of Harry Potter, Narnia, Lord of the Rings, or such, you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED - BUY THIS BOOK RIGHT NOW. If you have never read The Kingdoms and the Elves, don't hesitate - this is probably the best sci-fi book written and deserves a look, but do start with Book 1.

Great Listen

Journey Beyond the Beyond is a great story: imaginative and well written. My heart wrenched for Ray and I thought we should all aspire to be more like him. The reader of the audiobook is also one of the best I've ever heard. He gets this book. Do not hesitate to get this book. I think this is a definite CLASSIC!

WHAT A MAGICAL WORLD! This book introduces one of the best fantasy series ever written. Like most first books of a larger series, it spends part of the time introducing the world and the characters. But the story builds as the adventure begins and any fan of fantasy or adventure will love this series.

I loved all magical places. I fell in love with Adrina, Emel, Xith, Vilmos, Seth, and others. I loved hating Eravane, the dark lord, and King Jarom. I was fascinated by the many twists and turns especially the wolmerel encounters.

Because of the way the books continue, I recommend getting the first one and the second one together to start. When you finish these there are amazing journeys and adventures ahead in books 3 and 4.

Overall, an amazing start to great series! Plus this is the only series I have read or listened to twice, and I'm already eager to go back and start all over again.

HUGE FUN!!

I liked Eragon which was also written by a young author so I decided to give this a try. What I found was an amazing, intelligently written book that left me mesmorized and wanting more. This book is better than Artemis Fowl, better than Eragon in my opinion, and better on some levels than Harry Potter.

JK Rowling may have created the magical wizarding school of Hogwarts, but JR King created an entire wizarding universe complete with richly envisioned worlds and creatures. Wizards of Skyhall had me laughing one minute (especially when the gnome makes an appearance) and fascinated the next. Wizards of Skyhall does have a few rough spots, but the many many magical moments more than make up for these, and as a debut novel I'd have to say it's among the best I've read. Such a rare treat to find a book that leaves you gasping for more. This young author has a very bright future ahead.

I can't wait for the next one. Very highly recommend to all ages--young and old alike--and to anyone looking for a magical read. Amazingly fun!
