It’s funny and exciting

At the time the book started I questioned whether I was going to like the story. I stuck it out and then I realized it’s comical. It’s a very intriguing subject and adventurous but it’s comical in the telling of it.

Flaming good

This book is very entertaining, exciting and at the same time expected. The characters are all in peak performance by Cassandra who does an excellent job making you believe each voice is the character talking. All of Miss Fortune Mysteries are fun and over the top. Yes, over the top, but you expect it to be because Jana is a darn good author!

Big Disappointment

I've read every book in this series and could not wait for the next one to come out. It never should have come out. Margaret Maron is a fabulous author, but a narrator, she is not! I can't even get past the 5th chapter and I'm returning it. Maybe the book was going to finally go someplace, but I can't stand listening to Margaret to get there.

Louisiana longshot was written by an author I didn’t know and narrated by a speaker I didn’t know. It turned out great and I was glad I did it. now I’m looking forward to more on the series

Still exciting and funny

Janet Evanovich is still at her best! I can’t wait for the next one to come out. And there is no better person to narrate then Lorelei King
I love the two new characters. I hope Potts comes back to visit.

I am absolutely fascinated by the characters in this series of books. This book was even more intriguing than the first because of the complexity of the story. I love the beginning of each chapter with the Natasha and Sophie advice.

Less detail on the pornographic love making. The story is very weak and predictable.

What could Christina Dodd have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Again, less porno.

I will not be listening to any more of Christina Dodd's book. It is practically a duplicate of her story titled Thigh High.

Where does Scents and Sensibility rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Scents and Sensibility like all the Chet and Bernie mysteries is a number one hit.

What does Jim Frangione bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Jim doesn't just read the book, he performs the voices so well, I can see the characters.
The best voice of all is that of Chet's. He puts so much personality in that dog, I can see the dog's face and his whole body attitude.

Rhys Bowen's Finest Royal Spyness Novel

I've read every one of the her novels and although I was thrilled with every one of them, they were beginning to get stale. Then Ms Bowen does this!
Absolutely charming, entertaining, and intriguing. Reading the previous novels is a requirement to get the full benefit of the effect the shocking turn around of events has on the lives of the usual characters.

Words cannot express how delightful the story is and of course Katherine Kellgren does an excellent job acting out the story for us.
