I really enjoyed the prose and the plot! The characters feel fully developed and their voices fit.
I would just note that there are some descriptions of abuse and recollections of the same that could be pretty triggering for some. Not a criticism, just an fyi.

Not a happy story…

If you are looking for a unique fantasy world, strong and interesting characters, or fun, please skip this book.
The magic system is painful and uninteresting. This is isekai as punishment and I am simply not there for it.
As someone with anxiety, I did not particularly enjoy reading the MC’s constant mental struggles - I live with these in my head, I am not looking for them in my fiction.
As a positive, the author’s prose and pacing is actually quite good. My objections come from basically everything else. I don’t like hearing any of the characters’ inner worlds and by the end of the book I do not care whether the plot is resolved.

Too slow and not especially interesting

This dragged on forever - I couldn’t finish it. The multiple povs in this book detracts from the narrative flow and the world is both cliche and boring. If you write a meta-writer book, your own writing needs to be as good or better than the average. I wasn’t interested in the romance either - kinda hated both MCs

Got tired of an MC too stupid to survive

This MC should be a corpse in any plausible apocalypse story. Too stupid to carry weapons with her on her third on-shore outing. Got tired of the MC forgetting critical details about herself and her powers through the narrative.
