Historia
We live on a planet infested with humans. They are a pernicious species, yet undeniably clever and capable—even if the reasons behind their actions are often incomprehensible to us felines. But while it is true that there have never been so many primates on Earth, in reality, they are quite simple to teach using well-practiced domestication techniques, such as loud vocalizations, strategic nighttime alarms, and selective displays of affection.

Awesome narrator!! Kept me laughing and kept me interested and engaged. Everything about it reminded me of what my cat would do. 😆

Historia
On The Power of Vulnerability, Dr. Brown offers an invitation and a promise - that when we dare to drop the armor that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives. Here she dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and reveals that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.

So engaging and eye opening. It has definitely made me rethink some things I do in regards to protecting myself from feeling vulnerable as as well as how I perform as a parent. Thank you Brene, you are amazing!

We already rely on science to tell us what to eat, when to exercise, and how long to sleep. Why not use science to help us improve our relationships? In this revolutionary book, psychiatrist and neuroscientist Dr. Amir Levine and Rachel Heller scientifically explain why some people seem to navigate relationships effortlessly, while others struggle.

I always wondered why my past relationships didn’t work. This book makes it all very clear and helps you understand why people do the things they do in relationships. Truly a wonderful read, I’ve reshared this book several times this past couple of weeks and my friends have truly enjoyed it. A must read!
