Historia
When Dr. Louis Creed takes a new job and moves his family to the idyllic, rural town of Ludlow, Maine, this new beginning seems too good to be true. Yet despite Ludlow's tranquility, there's an undercurrent of danger that lingers...like the graveyard in the woods near the Creeds' home, where generations of children have buried their beloved pets.

Micheal C Hall Kills it
Revisado: 04-10-19
This is actually the first time I read Pet Semetary despite being a huge King fan for most of my life. It was everything everyone said it would be and is by far the most terrifying of his books. I'm glad I waited until I was an adult with Kids, I'm not sure it would have had the same impact when I was a teenager as it does now.
But by far the best thing about this was Micheal C Hall's reading of the book. His narrative voice is creepy and added so much atmosphere to the book. I would easily listen to this again in the future just because of this. If anyone asks why I listen to audiobooks rather than read them I would point them to this one as a good reason why.

Great performance- 2 very good novels and 2 meh 1s
Revisado: 04-10-19
Wil Wheton's performance in snapshot is excellent. I enjoy his readings in general, I had just finished Ready Player One and his performances were actually different enough that I didn't really confuse the two for long. The story itself was also really great and I enjoyed it.
Loaded was probably the best story on here and it was extremely tense and visceral. The story stuck with me long after it finished. The Performance was also top notch and I could clearly identify all the characters with the inflections and voice changes the actor did. Very well done.
The Cloud story was okay I did like the story itself and the performance but it was not as memorable as the others.
Strange Weather- I actually never finished this one. The story was off for me, not sure if it was the actor of the story itself but it didn't grab me. I think I have about 2.5 hours left of that one.

Historia
Leland Gaunt opens a new shop in Castle Rock called Needful Things. Anyone who enters his store finds the object of his or her lifelong dreams and desires: a prized baseball card, a healing amulet. In addition to a token payment, Gaunt requests that each person perform a little "deed", usually a seemingly innocent prank played on someone else from town. These practical jokes cascade out of control, and soon the entire town is doing battle with itself. Only Sheriff Alan Pangborn suspects that Gaunt is behind the population's increasingly violent behavior.

Great story and read but lose the sound effects
Revisado: 07-07-17
The only thing I would change about the performance is the words sound effects and midi music that pepper the performance. They should be taken out as they were distracting and o had to rewind a few times to hear an important scene.
As far as the story itself, as always King gets to the heart of the characters in a way that few writers accomplish. The character develop, net drives the first half of the book which is slow paced an deliberate. The last half of the book picks up significantly and you won't want to stop listening.
I would highly recommend this book for any fan of horror.
