Historia
Sometimes rumor, sometimes based on fact and often misunderstood, the tenets of Islamic law and dogma were not set in the religion's founding moments. They were developed, like in other world religions, over centuries by the clerical class of Muslim scholars. Misquoting Muhammad takes listeners back in time through Islamic civilization and traces how and why such controversies developed, offering an inside view into how key and controversial aspects of Islam took shape.

The book is well written and structured. The author mentioned several taboo subjects even among Muslims. As a Muslim with high degree in Islamic theology I recommend this book to whom seeking to know what really today's Islam looks like from inside.

He continues to challenge conventional wisdom and asks the questions that will help listeners sift through today's information overload to uncover ways to assess what's real... and what isn't. And use truth and facts as a foundation for taking control of their financial lives. In this new book, Robert fights what’s "fake" and helps listeners differentiate between what’s real...and what isn’t.

Historia
Josef Breuer, one of the founding fathers of psychoanalysis, is at the height of his career. Friedrich Nietzsche, Europe's greatest philosopher, is on the brink of suicidal despair, unable to find a cure for the headaches and other ailments that plague him. When he agrees to treat Nietzsche with his experimental "talking cure", Breuer never expects that he, too, will find solace in their sessions. Only through facing his own inner demons can the gifted healer begin to help his patient.

Historia
What happened to Islamic reform? Why have al Qaeda and Boko Haram become the faces of contemporary Islam? Why has the Arab Spring devolved into a battle over sharia law? Continuing her personal journey from a deeply religious Islamic upbringing to a post at Harvard and American citizenship, the New York Times best-selling author of Infidel and Nomad crafts a powerful call for an Islamic reformation as the only way to end the current wave of global violence and repression of women.

The book is misleading !
Revisado: 12-26-17
What did you like about this audiobook?
This book oversimplified Islam. The book should have deeper explanation of the core metter.
How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?
She supposed to emphasize that her experience is with certain understanding and interpretation of Islam, not the original Islam.
Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?
She should research more, and simply explain that historical "facts" and tales does no have to be true, and that many muslims does not believe in 99% of those tales. History is falsificated and written in dark circumstances.
Basically, her problems are based on the unfounded interpretations and personal attitudes of individuals through history, and certainly not on the authentic sources of original Islam.
What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?
it's a good subject, it addresses a growing problem among educated Muslims.
Do you have any additional comments?
To judge Islam, or any other religion, ideology, philosophy or thinking, writer should be objective and refer to unquestionable credible sources, which is Quran only. Interpretation of Quran is subjective, so any interpretation could be falsified.

Historia
Present moment awareness is an essential ingredient in life if one expects to experience any degree of authentic peace and contentment. It has been acknowledged for centuries as the cornerstone of spiritual awakening in all traditions of Eastern thought. In the West, however, it is still a relatively unrecognized concept for living. The Western mind is always restless, never content with the moment.
