Historia
The Bobiverse is a different place in the aftermath of the Starfleet War, and the days of the Bobs gathering in one big happy moot are far behind. There’s anti-Bob sentiment on multiple planets, the Skippies playing with an AI time bomb, and multiple Bobs just wanting to get away from it all. But it all pales compared to what Icarus and Daedalus discover on their 26,000-year journey to the center of the galaxy.

Solid, great for furries and sci fi enthusiasts alike
Revisado: 10-02-24
Very solid continuation of the Bobiverse. Much more open ended than the last book. Jesus that was a hard listen. Luckily he’s eased off the Quinlin side of things and went more into the space exploration and sci fi element which was extremely intriguing. Spent time with a new alien race which was alright and the only reason I’ve marked story as 4. First three bobiverse books are the best

Historia
Summer has come to Krynn, a summer unlike any before. The sun bears down on land and sea, searing the world with relentless light and heat. Clouds and rain are nowhere to be found, and even the darkness of night brings little relief from the strange and oppressive day. Meanwhile, those who commune regularly with their gods are uneasy. Every day, their deities become more distant, more difficult to reach. Clerics' prayers go unanswered, and magic goes awry.

A lot to take in but that’s what we love about Dragonlance. Don’t get too attached to half the characters you know and love 😭

Historia
The runaway success of the microchip processor may be nearing its end, with profound implications for our economy, society and way of life, even leaving Silicon Valley as a new Rust Belt, its technology obsolete. Step forward the quantum computer, which harnesses the power and complexity of the atomic realm, and may be useful in solving humanity's greatest challenges from climate change, to global starvation, to incurable diseases. Humanity's next great technological achievement already promises to be every bit as revolutionary as the transistor and microchip once were.

Michio Kaku Strikes Again!
Revisado: 01-31-24
Michio Kaku is hands down one of my favourite authors.
He thinks on another level across a multiverse of possibility and somehow pinpoints fascinating and relevant information well ahead of his time.
I would love to meet him before we both turn into Stardust.
Thanks for another brilliant piece of literature.

I’m confused, disappointed and a little rattled
Revisado: 03-17-23
From about 2/3 of this book, I kept thinking of writing a review that simply stated, ‘what the heck was that?’
Luckily the ending just scraped by to capture some of what got me into this series, with the first book being phenomenal.
I think the author is capable of some incredible works of fiction, but can choke on some books.
There were was a lot of varying content crammed into this book. Quite a few story lines had potential but were cut off quickly. This book leaned heavily more towards the post apocalyptic genre, politics and psychopaths.
I would predict most people come for the great Sci Fi and stay for the awesomely sarcastic characters and dialogue.
This book did not hit the mark and it feels bad not giving the Narrator 5 stars but you just can’t with this content. He did very well to narrate it but it was just a disjointed book and story.
The main protagonist from the first book had probably the smallest role in this one, which was slightly confusing.
If there is a follow up, I will consider but hopefully the author receives feedback on the potential this story could have had.

This many books into the series, it’s hard to understand how the story can keep going. Feels that way in parts of the book but some great Drizzt monologues and the story enhances as the book goes in

The ancient world has cast a long shadow, influencing our customs and religious beliefs, our laws, and the form of our governments. It has taught us when and how we make war or pursue peace. It has shaped the buildings we live and work in and the art we hang on our walls. It has given us the calendar that organizes our year and has left its mark on the games we play.

The conclusion to this audiobook gave me tingles
Revisado: 08-17-21
I would never have imagined that an audiobook about history would give me tingles of inquisitive excitement upon its conclusion. I previously disregarded history as interesting, focusing solely on science. I am so glad I have come around and found everything discussed in this book profoundly interesting. Honestly, 24 hours felt like eight. The professor narrating this book is beyond excellent. Could not recommend this enough.
