More murder and shenanigans at the Painted Lady Inn
Revisado: 03-09-24
A film production group comes to Legacy to shoot a baking competition show loosely based on Donna‘s favorite British bake off.
What starts as an opportunity for free advertising for the Painted Lady Inn, quickly turns in to a search for a murderer, when one of the contestants turns up dead.
Donna’s baking prowess gives her a chance to snoop, but between managing the Inn, dealing with staff and family nonsense, and the pressures of the competition, will she solve the mystery before everything implodes?
I thoroughly enjoyed this audible book! I’ve usually read MK Scott’s books, so listening was different for me. The narrator did a great job capturing the characters and made it fun to listen to.

Great story of the origin of Holmes’ nemesis
Revisado: 09-01-22
I enjoyed the similarities between Moriarty and Holmes. Both highly intelligent and analytical, working on separate sides of the law. The narrator is an evil Watson, describing their adventures and offering a glimpse into the inner workings of Moriarty’s mind. I hope there will be more adventures coming!

Wow! I couldn’t put it down!
Revisado: 08-28-22
The plot line of this story was fantastic. The characters are so relatable and have such depth, I found myself laughing, crying, rooting for them in their struggles, and cheering in their wins.
The mystery of how these women came to be widows got me hooked. The growth that occurs for them both individually and as a group kept listening. The final reveal and the epilogue perfectly ended the book.
