Historia
Romance can be a little complicated when you get sucked into a wormhole. Just ask high school English teacher June Flint. One little solar flare happens and suddenly you find yourself 85 years in the future. Eighty-five years from your dream job. Your ailing mother whose only companion in this world is you. Your favorite stuffed-crust pizza from DeLucia’s on Sunday nights. But when June’s cell phone inexplicably picks up a signal, she’s able to call back to the present—more specifically, four weeks before she accidentally time traveled.

Cara Bastone is am autobuy now haha
Revisado: 06-14-24
This story was so cute!
It was a quick story, but it didn't feel rushed since we got a sense that the characters knew each other for a long time, even if it felt like they barely met.
Unique time travel story with some crazy scientists, wormholes and hostages and love triangles lol
Loved how both June and Mikey saw the best in each other, hyping each other up even when they were both sort of introverts who only saw the worst of themselves. Also....found it adorable that their students were rooting for them 🤭
This is like the 4th Cara Bastone story I've listened too and they've ALL been AMAZING! So full of humor and quirkiness and fun, I'm in love with her work and at this point autobuying anything is comes up with 😍😂

better than I thought
Revisado: 04-05-24
While the novel was a bit wordy, overall it kept my attention. The first 20% of the book had me hooked and I wanted to know how Dantes would get revenge!
It was slow in the making but oh did he set plans. He was very unhappy though and I was worried how it would end.
Very intriguing story and I was invested in the characters 😊
Much better than I imagined it would be. Now I understand the fascination with this classic 😁

Historia
For Dee Kwan, every day is the perfect day. No, really. She has a house she loves, a job she adores, and a ridiculously attractive “nemesis” who never seems to mind when she wins their favorite online game. How can life possibly get better? (It can’t, obviously. It can only get much, much worse.) Soon Dee is forced to share her adorably cozy home with her parents and estranged grandmother. Then she’s tossed into the deep end at work, tasked with cleaning up a scandal for the intimidatingly chic luxury fashion firm Celeste. If that weren’t enough, she discovers her hot nemesis works there, too.

Story that address important issues!
Revisado: 11-20-23
This one had more serious undertones and issues brought up than Lily's previous two rom-coms.
Dee works as a consultant for a firm to help them better themselves when it comes to racism and sexism in the workplace. Unfortunately, the company she's brought in to help doesn't want to change and her own boss's want her to keep her head down. But the more and more unethical issues she witnesses, the less she wants to stay quiet.
Teddy, son to the owner of the company, got to know Dee online before they started working together. He is also of mixed ethnicity and agrees that the issues Dee brings up need to be changed. I loved them together. They were both smart and funny and wanted justice.
Only thing is.....when push came to shove, Teddy didn't have Dee's back and that disappointed me a bit.
Other than that, even though this novel wasn't all laughs and sunshine, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and all the real issues it addressed! Also love how it all wrapped up. We know it doesn't always work out that way but I LOVE that in my fantasies, the bad guys gets their comeuppance 😁🤭 hehe

Narration was good 👍
Revisado: 08-07-23
This was a fast read and even faster listen. While it started off slow, it picked up and I was never bored, but.....the characters disappointed me a bit. Jane was too trusting with the wrong people, Dean is too controlled, Janette was in too deep, and even though I didnt like how Jane was treating Isaac, he kind of proved her right. He did seem into any Janie and too attached to his dad to do the right thing. It was all so frustrating on top of the strong issues of prejudice.
But the schemes, double crossing, corporate espionage, attacks, and plotting was really good! As usual, Jordan Rivet kept me on my toes. The ending gives me hope, and I'm looking forward to ending since I loved book one so much and this book set up nicely for a show down in the next one 😄
Thank you Jordan for a chance to read amd listen this! Love that these were turned into audiobook because the narration made it better for me 😁

Made Even Better with Narration 😍
Revisado: 08-07-23
I knew this would be good! The synopsis peaked my interest on the get go, so I was SUPER excited to get this ARC. And man, Jordan Rivet did NOT disappoint!
I loved every minute of Replacement! The first few pages did confuse me a little as I got used to the world, but I caught on pretty quickly and fell in love with Jane and her naughty curious ways haha
I'm a curious person myself and I love a good mystery so I thoroughly enjoyed putting the pieces together with Jane and Dean. Although, Dean has a lot to make up for, hmph 😤 lol
My heart ached for Isaac too and I liked how his friendship with Jane developed.
The ending left a lot of questions unanswered, but Jordan made it clear this would be a new series, and man the wait is going to kill me! I want to get my hands on book 2 right now 😂
Such a good book! Giving it 10 stars! I recommend it to everyone! And the Narration only made it better 👍👍

High 4.5 so gave it a 5 star!
Revisado: 05-26-23
Absolutely LOVED this book! Audible really brought it to life with the subtle sound effects and full cast. I loved that Lara and the Ithicanans made cameo appearances and that neother she nor anyone else put up with Keris's bs lol
Keris would be the only reason this wasn't a 5 stat for me. He was unhealthily obsessed with Zarrah and even she knew it. But unlike him, Zarrah thought of what was best for her people and their world in general, even apologizing to Lara for her behavior towards her.
First half of the book was rescuing Zarrah, and the 2nd half was about putting her on the throne! So much action, twists, reveals, and yes, romance lol
It's a MUST BUY for me! Even if I don't love Keris 😂👍

I have exactly 5 hours and 10 minutes to get from Boston to New York City or the professional opportunity of a lifetime disappears. My only travel option? The second to last seat on a discount bus. Across from the bathroom. Wearing last night’s clothes (don’t ask). All worth it if I can make it in time.

Hilarious once I got into it
Revisado: 11-27-22
Okay, not going to lie. It took me a bit to warm up to Sam and Gwen, unlike Vera who I fell in love with immediately lol
BUT, once the story and dialogue got going, they really were just as funny and entertaining as the rest of this series! Omgosh, I laughed out loud so many times by the ridiculousness these two got up to. Got excited when I found the Vera connection, but no, she didn't appear and....I was okay with that. I was just rooting for Sam to get his Gwen haha
Super cute romance with the BEST ending, honestly 😍

It’s officially booty o’clock, I’m alone again in my kitchen choking down a slice of terrible chocolate cake…and I’m pretty sure I just got drunk texted by the man I have a ginormous crush on. I’ve been daydreaming about Eliot Hoffman’s dimples for two months, and even though I’m sure this was a mistake on his end, it doesn’t mean it’s not an opportunity on mine. It’s the middle of the night, and I just wanna talk to him. So I text him back.

Loved it as much as Call Me Maybe!
Revisado: 10-27-22
Such a cute romance! Loved this one as much as the first! Apparently the plots were happening at the same time but this one would have spoilers for Call Me Maybe, so I suggest that one first. We get to know Vera's brother more in this and follow him along on his love journey. I couldn't get enough of these two and loved every second of the Audible original! highly recommend 🤩

Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. It’s amazing all the useless things I can accomplish while on hold for three hours with customer service. Three hours when I should be getting the Date-in-a-Box website ready to launch at the big business expo in a few days. Except my shiny new website is glitching, and my inner rage-monster is ready to scorch some earth...when he finally picks up. Not the robot voice I expected but a real live human named Kal.

Highly recommend to anyone in the mood for some laughs and romance!

Typical School Story with a spy twist
Revisado: 10-13-22
Didn't give it 5 stars because it's typical school story where the new girl doesn't fit in, a bully makes others feel small, and to top it off they belittle some characters based on parentage. The spy twist was interesting, with their made up history and different style classes. Becks and Liz were fun to read too, and I loved that in the end the adults ACTUALLY did the right thing haha
Been years since I read book 1 of this series and might pick it up again 😊
