Historia
For many years Josephine Moon struggled with the question of eating meat, fervently wishing to live as a vegetarian yet requiring meat in her diet. From Josephine’s philosophical, spiritual and physical battle with eating meat came, Buddhism for Meat Eaters - a book for animal lovers, the environmentally and ethically conscious, and generally thoughtful people who eat meat but perhaps aren’t entirely comfortable doing so.

Really cool idea - love the narration

Ok, so I'm suspicious of any organised religion but despite the title, this book is cool, It helped me to make sense of so many everyday things. Thank you Josephine Moon. And, think you Kate Blakk. Nice co-lab you've got going on. Kindness appreciated,

Historia
When the actress Debbie Reynolds died a day after her beloved daughter, Carrie Fisher, we interpreted it as literal 'heartbreak'. But what's the evidence? How do times of emotional upheaval affect the heart? Can love, or exercise, really heal our heart problems? And why do we know so much about heart attacks in men when they are more fatal in women? Can You Die of a Broken Heart? is a fascinating insight into the workings of our most vital organ and how our emotions and lifestyle affect its every beat.

Luv the Aussie voice - not a very good book though
Revisado: 10-27-19
On a personal note, this topic is very close to my heart so I persisted and finally got through. The narrator is great - in fact, her polite Aussie accent helped me to stay with the audiobook. Her voice really makes this.
But the doctors writing is poor and whilst a good idea, the structure is muddled.

Historia
On the surface, the Victorian age is one of propriety, industry, prudishness and piety. But scratch the surface and you’ll find scandal, sadism, sex, madness, malice and murder. Presented by Stephen Fry, this series delves deep into a period of time we think we know, to discover an altogether darker reality. The stories we’re told offer a different perspective on an era which underwent massive social change. As education, trade, technology and culture blossomed, why was there an undercurrent of the ‘forbidden’ festering beneath Victorian society?

This is quite odd
Revisado: 09-04-19
Stephen Fry is my cuppa tea. But these tales are quite bazaar. Very glad we don't live in Victorian Times.
