I don’t normally like enemy silver lovers, but I really liked this one. Adult scenes were extremely hot and well written. But the overall story was excellent as well. I like the world building created in the story. And I liked the way the characters interacted with each other. Made for some very funny moments. Very quotable.

Best self help I’ve read

I have read A LOT of self help books over the years. Too many. At this point it all starts to sound like the same album on repeat. But this book IS different. The acknowledgment of systemic failures in society is true and powerful. Even though I am not the target demographic for this book so much of what was said hit me hard, like the author was reading from my soul file. I found the end of the book, the last few chapters the best, where the author outlines actionable steps to help yourself and how to help move society towards change.

Cricket Kendall series always makes me happy!

When I listen to these adorable (mostly) stories by Willow Hadley brought to life by Monica King, and Chris Chambers narration, it just puts a big stipid grin on my face for as long as I listen.
These books make me feel happy. I really hope Hadley continues the saga, and that they get taken up by Audible with the King and Chambers continuing their narration work. <3

Nikki St. Crowe’s writing continues to grow and impress me. I absolutely loved this short novel, half way through reading it I realized my only regret would be not immediately having more to read when I was done.
The world Crowe is creating with these Seven Isles stories is all consuming, the characters are fun, and the adult scenes are so fucking hot!
If I had anything less than stellar to say it would just be that Crowe doesn’t really do character development so much as revise them as new stories are written. But that truly is a minor critique in my opinion. Frankly I have loved every character “revision” she has made.
If the author sees this please, please, please keep writing stories about the world and characters you’ve created with the Seven Isles! They bring me so much joy.

I read a lot of self-help and psychology books. It’s like half of my library. This has to be in the top five maybe top three. It is an excellent summary of the most valuable therapy points and techniques. Frankly, it’s probably the best starting point for anyone on a self help journey.

But if there's an ethical corporation out there, Murderbot has yet to find it, and if Barish-Estranza can't have the planet, they're sure as hell not leaving without something. If that something just happens to be an entire colony of humans, well, a free workforce is a decent runner-up prize. But there's something wrong with Murderbot; it isn't running within normal operational parameters.

The first book in the series was good in the way that a bad movie is good. The second book is just good. Don’t get me wrong, Pulitzer Prize winning it ain’t. However for what it is, porn (!) It is very good. Looking forward to the third book.

When Murderbot discovers a dead body on Preservation Station, it knows it is going to have to assist station security to determine who the body is (was), how they were killed (that should be relatively straightforward, at least), and why (because apparently that matters to a lot of people - who knew?). Yes, the unthinkable is about to happen: Murderbot must voluntarily speak to humans! Again!
