Historia
Notes from the author: The following is a short story I wrote in the Elantris world back in January of 2006. There were always a few holes in Elantris where I decided not to include viewpoints or sections of explanation in the name of streamlining, particularly at the end. In the back of my mind, I knew what happened. This story talks about one of those holes; it is meant to be heard after you’ve finished the novel and takes place during the events of the climax.

I just completed the graphic audio of Elantris and really enjoyed it. When I saw Hope of Elantris has a graphic audio by the same company, I bought it. The story itself was decent, and it’s fairly short. The main criticism I have is for the graphic audio producer. Hope of Elantris has many of the same voice actors as Elantris, but a different narrator. For some reason, they chose to use totally different enunciations for all the character and location names. It really throws you off and you have to sometimes stop to figure out who they are talking about. It would have been so much better to just stick with the same enunciations!

Historia
The city of the gods. Elantris once stood as the symbol of all that is beautiful. A sprawling metropolis of unrivaled grandeur, it was a symbol of power and strength, built to be as imposing as it was magnificent. But Elantris fell...10 years ago.

Interesting and entertaining

I started reading the physical book Elantris and found the unusual names disrupted a smooth reading experience. I found the graphic audio version and the high quality production with sound effects, different voices and background music really brought the story to life. Political intrigue, romance, and action contained within the story made for an engaging experience. Highly recommended!
