A different kind of love story Heed the author's warnings. If you have to be a killer then killing serial killers is the way to go.
I personally loved it. Narration done the way I prefer with the male speaking males' roles and one voiced for the female in every chapter. Great narration.
Look forward to book 2.

This was a great series. The new narrator is terrible. The Italian accents cannot be distinguished between the Asian accents. It was a chore to follow the story with the horrible narration. I hesitate to listen to the next book with he same narrator.

Another good solid book. interesting at a measured pace. Love the main character and am glad Lucy is back with Elvis. Hope it works this time.
Look forward to the next book maybe with a hint of Scott Harvath thrown in.

The story is well done and interesting. pace starts slow setting up but picks up as it moves along. The story is a true mystery tale without all the over dramatic angst so many others have. The main policeman is a true family man with kids and a wife he loves. Yet he is immersed in his job and since it isn't here in America there is not the long paragraphs describing weapons and ammunitions Also the author tells his story without pages describing everything in hic characters surroundings.
The narration is strange, maybe a little too gung ho. Especially as he announces each chapter as if he was a barker at a circus
Looking forward to the next book.

Excellent series. Characters are written so well you can picture them in your mind. Each one so different yet cohesive as a group. Even when Craig's people and Rose's come together they mesh. The love stories that weave through are lovely and satisfying. I look forward to the next chapter in their saga to survive.

Worth a credit and your listening time

I am not sure if I love or disdain the hero. Slow to start but the GREAT NARRATION kept me hanging until I was hooked. The hero's byplay with himself and his dog is hilarious though at times I doubt his sanity but it is the apocalypse. The heroine is a wonder and patient...very patient. Look forward to listening to Book 2.

Another spinoff great series. Lettie is a sassy young female Lucas Davenport. Great story perfect partner for Lettie. And Lettie is so like Lucas in her mannerism, in her insightful deductions and how she follows her instincts even using the same pad and pencil as her dad uses. I hope this is the first of a new series. Lucas, Virgil and now Lettie. Always look forward to John Sandford's next release.

Loved the original audio but the dramatic audio is wonderful. The voices and sound effects are realistic. I will admit I liked Emily's voices more. Looking fwd to the next book.

Great story Characters are well developed, The heroes are likeable the baddies truly evil. Heart racing at times with a little time for romance . Just enough description of firepower for those of us with too little knowledge so our minds do not wander. Lovely man/dog and buddy/buddy relationships. The POV from the dog was humorous and touching.
Narration was Mr. Pinchot at his best. Needless to say I am a fan of his and the saga.
