I saw this book recommended a lot on Instagram and I was really hesitant because it just didn’t sound like my type of thing. I was worried it would be cheesy and hard to get into. But to my surprise I was obsessed! I was sucked in and could not stop listening. John solo is not my favorite narrator for romance… He sounds like Chris Parnell (from SNL and Brooklyn 99, google him you’ll recognize his face lol) and that’s not exactly sexy. But I got used to it and the book is so good it’s worth it. Highly recommend!

This is such a cute story! So many authors try to be funny, but this author actually succeeds… I laughed out loud several times and I’m not want to do that usually. Such a good story, with some spicy moments but not that many. I usually like my books smuttier than this, but I loved the buildup and characters so much that I had zero complaints!

So this isn’t necessarily a deep story… I think it could’ve been, but it’s just not. But! I still really loved it and I’ve listened to it twice. I think a big part of it is Alexander Candese’s performance! He was so funny and entertaining. I listen to a lot of books he has narrated and was really lotta way by his performance here, really different than other things I’ve heard! And maybe it’s because I also have ADD but I found the Emery character really really funny. Not going to change your life but this is entertaining and sweet.

Seriously loved this book!! The pace was perfect - enough to build up tension and get you invested but not too slow. Also perfect use of angst - not *too* much and it was heartbreaking but I really felt it with them and it was meaningful, not just angst for angsts sake. Obsessed! And will be listening to this again.

Sooo good

I kind of can’t believe how good this book was. I’ve listen to a bunch of books by this author, and some are a bit more surface level than others, but I always enjoy them. By the title of this book, I figured this would be more of a light and fluffy type of listen. And it was… but also the chemistry was SO off the charts good! Like I thought this was a really genuinely sweet love story, where their connection felt believable and the pace of the story was great. Again, I can’t believe how much I loved a book called “frat wars” but I will definitely be listening to this one again!

LOVED it!

I was so blown away by this book! I listened to the first book and it was heavy on the sex, lighter on the story. I still enjoyed it though so I bought this one, expecting something similar. But this far exceeded expectations! It was a way slower burn, and rich in character development and world building. The heat level was scorching as I expected, but the story was the real star. Super satisfying ending and such a delicious journey to get there.

I really enjoyed listening to these books! The first two stories are entertaining, sexy, but a bit more light and fluffy! The premises are super interesting but didn’t delve is deep as they could have. Still really enjoyed them though! The last book however, is definitely the star of the show. The emotion and tension in that one is amazingly well done.

Such a cute book! And super hot. The chemistry between the characters was great and the slightly slow burn was perfect. I think the narrator sounds a bit like he’s reading rather than performing but still loved it. Looking forward to this author‘s next books!

Lucy Lennox writes the sweetest stories! The way she creates intense chemistry between two characters is the best! This book was no different. Loved it.
