Disappointing to the last.

Struggled through this entire series. Not sure how I did it frankly. This last book was definitely the best of the lot but I wouldn't recommend it.
What bothered me most about the authors style of writing is that he lacks creative ways to change characters fates. His favorite and much over used plot twist mechanism is the the word "then" ie: and then he notices..., just then the..., and then there's an explosion... you get the picture. It just became far to predictable and annoying to hear. Totally turned me off his writing style.
Sorry but I do not recommend this series, there are far better ones.
On a cool note, it was neat to learn where the star destroyer which was crashed on Jakku that Rey flew flew the Falcon through came from in episode 7.

Great build up but...

The conclusion to all the story lines were anticlimactic. Left me feeling meh and many good parts in the story.
