How can you not love Brene’s work?

Authentic, genuine and real is how Brene’ presents the information. This information she shared is what we all feel and experience and Brene’ was just bold enough to say it so millions so we can hear it. We needed to hear it so we can stop believing “I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST ME”. Now to start understanding why we have come to believe or feel unworthy and not enough…. Thank you Brene’!

Excuse my rant at the end despite finding the topic interesting and hopeful. Discouraging to see how the “almighty dollar” as dear mother used to say, trumps and interferes with doing the right thing. Very disappointed to know this. Makes me angry and wonder what else is a façade and neglected. Like if “we” are really in fact trying to look for a cure for cancer. We certainly have not been trying to stop or prevent the opiate epidemic. Or preventing domestic mass killings. What they all have in common is conflicting monopolizing financial interest by our federal leaders and our political decision makers who are cowards and despicable. “For the people by the people” is BS. SMH

Powerful and hopeful.

From a credible author, a confident presented lesson of never ceasing our prayer life. Acknowledging never being done parenting. Instead of reacting emotionally to our adult children poor choices, we should pray fervently to God. Why do we so often do that only in the bad times. I would definitely recommend this book and the pre-sequel book before we even have children.
