Wow! The Plot Just Exploded!

This latest addition really opens up the broader world, or worlds so to speak. I really liked the character development of Thundar as well. Can’t wait for the next installment!

Easily The Best in Series Thus Far

This feels like the ending of a sequence in the series. It is absolutely epically done! Wayne Mitchell and Reba Buhr are excellent in their narration and M H Johnson writes as if the claws of fate were grasping for her pen! The clash between Alex and several protagonists comes to a major head of intense cultivation and thrilling combat on the battlefields of fate. I can’t wait for more!

Great New Progression Fantasy LitRPG Series!

Interesting and innovative magic system. Engaging characters. Imaginative, post apocalyptic, world. Listening to this book reminded me of living out an open world action RPG (BoTW and ToTK came to mind often). Fearsome and purposefully nebulous enemy leaves plenty to be discovered and built upon. Also, the transition moments from one driving force to the next was handled very well with characters always having a very logical reason for pressing forward. That’s something that is sometimes not handled very well in other books and series of the same genre (often even taken for granted that characters will just want to persevere for perseverance’ sake). Not in this case. The motivations are layered nicely and tie in with charter development and drama with no breaks in transition moments.

The narration could be, perhaps, a touch better. I have heard other renditions by Ralph Lister and he seems to have a way of casting protagonists with almost a bit too much passivity or acquiescence for my taste. It works for Hiral’s character, which is partially why he was chosen, I suppose. However, with Hiral already being somewhat of a doormat (a trend with protagonists lately) as part of his baggage, in those moments when he asserts himself a bit we could stand to hear a tad more iron in his voice…just my opinion. That aside, Mr. Lister has a great breath of voices and intonation at his disposal and really breaths life into the characters. Excellent job and well worth the listen! Can’t wait for more!

Top Marks for the Fool!!

The imagination, creativity, humor, character development, and slice of life writing in this series are just stellar. Another magnificent addition from J.M. Clarke. Travis Baldree, as always, is just superb. His voice truly brings this one to life! Couldn’t ask for a better magically enhanced one two punch than from these two. The next one cannot come fast enough!!

Great Continuation!!

Excellent writing Mr. O’Conner! For those worried about the MC becoming too powerful: don’t be. Obviously this series is focusing on the life of a legendary galvanizing figure. What do you expect?! Normalcy? If you want that go read a slice of life drama or something. I’m sure the author is up to the challenge of challenging his own protagonist…he has been thus far.

Luke Daniels, my man! Pay no attention to the naysayers out there. I like your cadence and accent in dialogue. Some people have just become too accustomed to expecting everything to be spoken like an auctioneer. One thing though, you changed up Aria’s accent. It actually does mesh better with her character IMO, but it’s still a bit jarring from one book to the next (especially if you go back and re-listen to book 1 before listening to book 2, as I did). So, is there any discussion about re-recording Stormweaver Book 1 with Aria’s new accent? I think it would make for a better feel and character development from her overall. Just saying…

Great story! Can’t wait for the next installment!

The rooster crows louder than ever in this second installment of the series. Amazing characters and character development overall. Once again, the combination between Casualfarmer and Travis Baldree is stellar! This series brings me back to my roots every time. So many idioms expressed through this series. Work hard play hard! Give back to the land and the land will give back to you. You reap what you sow. Home is where the heart is. Keep up the wonderful storytelling! Can’t wait for the next in series!

Amazing! Simply Amazing!

Having lived on a Canadian farm as a kid, this story absolutely brought back so many memories! I definitely connected with the protagonist on so many levels. It’s great hearing Travis Baldree do the narrations as well! Great pairing!

I honestly laughed so hard throughout this series. This latest book was no exception. Hilariously entertaining! Travis Baldree, your narrating is just awesome, because of course it is. Kyle Kirrin, I love the way you write banter. Just awesome. I hereby award you and Travis 1 million Frank Points and Two House Stars a piece! Don’t tell House, they were on loan. Can’t wait for the next installment!
