Stop Holding Back
Revisado: 10-09-22
I first encountered Pastor Irwin through curriculum for my youth group. Always passionate and knowledgeable, pastor Irwin's insights initiated conversation with youth and leader alike. Listening to this book, hearing his wonders, fears, pains, and joy was deeply moving. Moreover, processing through scripture and personal life, Pastor Irwin describes the kind of life we all want to live. Stop holding back! Give your all! Keep moving forward until your last breath is spent. Inspiring and thought provoking. I know I am working each day to use all my arrows for all that God sees in me.

Historia
In Boundaries for Leaders, Dr. Henry Cloud gives leaders the tools and techniques they need to achieve the performance they desire - in their organizations and in themselves. Drawing on the latest findings from neuroscience, Dr. Cloud shows why it's critical for leaders to set the conditions that make people's brains perform at their highest levels. How do great leaders do this? One way is through the creation of "boundaries" - structures that determine what will exist and what will not.

Essential for anyone in leadership
Revisado: 08-11-20
I loved this book. Good stories that are focused and relevant. More take aways than I can write. Understanding how attending, inhibiting, and developing working memory for yourself, your team, and your organization comes together is critical for all leaders. One of my favorite phrases, "you are ridiculously in charge." A great reminder and a call toward action. This is on my yearly reading list.

Great Insights
Revisado: 07-22-19
Lolly has a great command of coaching and the experience to back it up. I enjoyed her focus on both the right way to use certain strengths and her ability to get to the heart of the weakness of each as well. I have listened twice, outlined the paper copy and will use this for years to come.
