This book surprised me and delighted me. I had actually never read it before and I am quite impressed with it. Charlotte Bronte is an excellent story teller and her writing is intelligent, touching, and poetic.
About the Narrator: now that I know the book there is no one more suited to narrate it than Thandie Newton!! She is such a graceful and beautiful woman in everything she does! Her passion and skill brings this story to life and she makes you feel that it is her own story. She captivates you and brings you with her on this wonderful and heartfelt journey. I hope she narrates many more!

Historia
If we were as tiny as ants to another being, what would they make of our philosophies? The great satirist Voltaire imagines alien visitors who have opinions. Bedtime stories are narrated by the world's most celebrated voices and written with no beginning, middle, or end so you don't stay up to hear what happens next. They're interesting enough to give your mind something to focus on, but delivered in a way that encourages sleep.

excellent narration and very informative
Revisado: 01-24-20
It really helps to have such a talented narrator bringing you in to the book. John Douglas's books are important and informative, but not for the faint of heart. He brings you into his world and shows you these criminals for who they really are. His books are honest and straightforward. He and his team have worked hard to protect people and shine a light into the darkness. For these books you have to have a narrator that can pull you in and escort you through the darkness. Jonathan Groff does exactly that. Excellent! a must read!

intelligent and heartfelt!
Revisado: 06-22-18
This book is very helpful and honest. It is encouraging and caring for people that are dealing with abuse and narcissists. Dr. Hawkins is careful not to dictate or control victims in this book, but allows and encourages the victim to have freedom to choose. This I believe is a crucial point because victims do not need another person controlling them. I wish there were more chapters in this book as it is absolutely amazing.
