Historia
When Roland and his lance rescue an Ibarra crew from a Kesaht attack, those saved become a pawn in a conspiracy that could turn the galaxy against all of humanity. Earth’s senior leaders must sacrifice the captured crew to preserve the peace, or risk war with the Ibarra Nation. But Stacey Ibarra and her lieutenants have plans of their own. Roland, torn between his duty as a Templar and his loyalty to his home world, is thrust into the struggle between the Ibarras and Earth. He must choose between the factions, and there will be no turning back.

Amazing
Revisado: 11-20-18
I thought the armor core books would not be as good after the whole Ember War series but boy was I wrong! In its own way, this series is even better and really makes you look at your own moral compass. The characters are awesome and the battles are great. Highly recommended.

Historia
Kevin Mitnick was the most elusive computer break-in artist in history. He accessed computers and networks at the world’s biggest companies—and however fast the authorities were, Mitnick was faster, sprinting through phone switches, computer systems, and cellular networks. He spent years skipping through cyberspace, always three steps ahead and labeled unstoppable.

Fantastic

Reads like a spy novel but with all the technical details you crave. I immediately had nostalgia for my 90s hacker days. Seeing 'Art of Deception' in practice was awe inspiring. Highly recommend if you have any technical knowledge and enjoy a good game of cat and mouse. You'll never look at your computer hiccups the same way again!

With the help of a prospective board member and his mysterious philosophy of the Three Ways, Bill starts to see that IT work has more in common with manufacturing plant work than he ever imagined.

Pretty good intro to it ops

Only two critiques:
Sometimes felt like one of those corporate training reenactments you're forced to watch if you work for a large corporation. Seemed a little abrasive towards developers. From my experience (a developer), we usually want to make the correct decision but are constrained by time and money dictated by management. Other than that, overall a great overview of IT management structural changes which encourage communication, useful work, and ultimately a higher chance of success.

Historia
The Phage War had been a devastating conflict for the Terran Confederacy. Even with the destruction of their terrifying, implacable foe, humanity is still reeling. Political alliances are crumbling, and their mighty fleet is in tatters. There is nothing to celebrate, even after such a complete victory. They soon learn that there are other stellar neighbors - and they've been watching the conflict with great interest. One species comes with an offer of friendship and alliance, but humanity is weary and distrustful.

Another addictive story!
Revisado: 04-17-17
For about 10 seconds I thought to myself, perhaps after such an action packed trilogy this story would have to take it slow. Boy was I wrong. I think New Frontiers rivals the joy of book 1-2 of the initial series. You have the same great mix of discovery, fear, and combat. Great stuff. Can't wait to hear what happens next!
