Amazingly well done.

Oops! I had the wrong idea.

I was drawn to this book, thinking it was going to give tips on how to raise a kind, courageous, generous, and compassionate human; one who creatively collaborates and leads with a heart of service. I do not know what gave me this idea, other than the prevailing focii of 21st century education.

The term "Superhumans" in a more historical usage.
It is the book you want if physical and mental prowess are the things you are working on with your child.

When I was about 9 years old, I had nightmares and trouble sleeping.
Then we got tapes of Alexander Scourby reading the Bible! They expanded my vocabulary, grounded me in truth, and helped me sleep more peacefully. Last night I revisited the delight of this comforting narration!

If you decide to try the same idea for your child, you may want to preview each book of the Bible before you play it for your young person.
The Bible is not shy about the realities of life, so some families may want to check that their child is developmentally ready for the content in a given book of the Bible.
Many people start Bible exploration with the book of John. It is one of the most widely read tellings of Jesus' life on earth. It features focus on his deep, brave love, his power in making a difference for humanity, and his the intense suffering and victory at the end of his time on earth.

Murderous backdrop aside, this audio experience feels cozy, transporting the listener to a wonderfully quaint and uncomplicated version of the 1930's.
This is a place to escape and relax. You know Poirot will be consistently genteel and gentle, that you will meet interesting characters, and that that good things will happen.
