Historia
Londyn McCormack didn’t have a typical childhood. She ran away at 16 and spent her youth searching for a place to call home. She’s built a good life for herself through hard work and a little luck, but after a devastating divorce, she’s running away again. Her life collides with Brooks Cohen, a small-town mechanic who gives her a reason to stop driving on that runaway road.

Best anthology I’ve had the pleasure of listening to!

Great story overall, and each section of the story was enthralling. I was hooked from the beginning to the very end! So creative how the author was able to pass the baton to the next set of characters. Was a joy to listen to!

Historia
It's nearly Christmas, Julia Devine's favourite time of the year. She's just programmed a wonderful lead into the holidays at Sunny Street Cinema, which leaves her plenty of time to worry about going home to Cumbria for Christmas. Her mum and stepdad are fine, but the thought of spending another holiday with her awful stepsister Becca is enough to make a Scrooge out of anyone. When Becca calls to let her know about the dreamy pilot she's bringing to Christmas lunch, Julia finally snaps and does something very silly.

Best holiday book so far this season!

To quote a preview review, I didn’t want this story to end! It was touching and heartwarming, with threads of humor throughout. Meeting one’s celebrity crush is a bit of a fantasy, but she was able to make it seem believable. All while intermingling relatable topics and relationships. I also really appreciated how the author balanced the romance aspect perfectly. It was steamy yet classy, with not even a touch of vulgarity. Was satisfying from a story perspective, while still leaving enough to the imagination. The perfect balance! I wish more romance authors would find that happy medium. Would love to listen to more stories from her in the future!
