Historia
When Elon Musk was a kid in South Africa, he was regularly beaten by bullies. One day a group pushed him down some concrete steps and kicked him until his face was a swollen ball of flesh. He was in the hospital for a week. But the physical scars were minor compared to the emotional ones inflicted by his father, an engineer, rogue, and charismatic fantasist.

The author seems a little hard on Elon Musk
Revisado: 09-23-23
It is a fascinating, informative book, although often harsh, evaluation of Elon Musk's life so far. What I like is how brutally honest it seems to be. What I didn’t like was pointing out his flaws more often than pointing out how absolutely incredible he is. Musk is a complex man who can be very soft and emotional and then turn around and be incredibly cruel. I would definitely recommend this book even if you didn’t even know who Elon was. You would find him interesting. At this point, I believe that his life is only halfway over; there will be more books written about this pioneer. This book does attempt to explain what makes him tick and why. The insights into how his father and mother raised him and his brothers are very inciting. I think he bought Twitter/X so he could have a little fun.

Thirty years ago, Tucker Carlson got his first job out of college fact-checking for a quarterly magazine, and he went on to write for many other publications before becoming the primetime Fox News host he is today. In The Long Slide, Tucker delivers a few of his favorite pieces - annotated with new commentary and insight - to memorialize the tolerance and diversity of thought that the media used to celebrate instead of punish.

A story inside a story
Revisado: 03-15-23
Very enjoyable Tucker tells the story, but you know that there’s another story inside the story. I enjoyed it immensely.

Fabulous
Revisado: 09-23-22
I love this book. Emily reads it herself, and the passion and the feelings in her voice make the reading experience even more moving. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to know how it feels to have a miracle in the making.
