Character development and foreshadowing EXCELLENCE. My adult son and I ehave listened to one book while traveling by car 30 hours round trip. Now we are at different places in series and enjoy teasing each other about what’s next. 👍

What an excellent series! My 28 year old son and I listened while driving across several states for a wedding and home again! 24 hours …and we have been talking about it as we progress at different paces. He had already listened to the chronicles so he’d pause at times to explain parts. I feel

Story was engaging I drew some parallels to current times...although with a twist. I was drawn into the story pretty quickly. I was so entertained it came as surprise that I’d reached the end. I look forward to book 2! The narrator did a great job. It’s been my experience that a good story can be ruined by a distracting reader. Not the case. I enjoyed it.
