Historia
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

A whole new perspective on my life!
Revisado: 11-28-21
I wish I had listened to this book years ago.....of the thousands of books I’ve read/listened to-this is HANDS DOWN in the top 3-possibly even #1. I’m almost 45 and an avid reader so-go figure! I just can’t even put into words how inspirational Goggins is to me-I literally hear his voice in my head when I feel like I’m slacking or being lazy! It’s not about external validation, credit, accolades, or competing with other people. When you’re competing against yourself, to be the BEST YOU...you can’t lie to yourself if you want true peace. He is so right about living to your potential, always growing *thru* suffering, which prob doesn’t make sense now but-read the book and you’ll understand! I love how the lessons Goggins learned and talks about in his book can be applied to nearly any scenario in your life that challenges you. I will always treasure this book and recommend it to EVERYONE I possibly can!

The best decluttering book I have ever read
Revisado: 07-17-18
After countless attempts to declutter my home and my life, and never making headway; the heavy emotional burden of guilt and embarrassment I always carried, and feeling like life is passing by but I can’t partake bc I should be home “decluttering”...then feeling even more guilt bc my children are growing up and I’m missing out; and they are missing out too, never getting to have their friends over, always the panic on everyone’s face when the doorbell rings unexpectedly... always thinking- what kind of mother am I, what am I teaching them, what Kind of wife am I etc. If you can relate to any of this-YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED this book. If you desperately need help figuring out what the inner clutter is that is keeping you stuck so you can finally breathe and have peace in your mind and peace in your heart..THIS BOOK WILL HELP you! After all the decluttering books I’ve read and systems I’ve tried-I’d still resisted letting things go. This is the first book that helped me take that first big step to let something go I really thought I wanted/needed/was useful/worth money/would regret once it was gone. FINALLY, I did it, and I finally got to experience what I’d always read about-that moment you get the “impossible” boulder rolling and next thing you know, you actually start to enjoy getting it out of your house; you look forward to trash day, seeing what you can put out and so happy that in the next 24 hours it will be gone forever. This book will dramatically change your life on so many levels. It definitely changed mine.

Exactly what I needed
Revisado: 04-04-18
Even if you think “if I’ve read one, I’ve read them all” on books about decluttering or Home management, as I thought when I chose to buy this book (but bought it anyway), I truly believe you will be pleasantly surprised (as I was). “She keeps it real”, is probably the best way to describe it. There may be those who can’t relate to being creative or nostalgic or having grand ideas about projects that never come to fruition and cause their house to become unmanageable. If you’re not this way, I sort of wonder how cluttered your house really is. For those who ARE, and feel overwhelmed, embarrassed, at your wits’ end.. believe me, you should read this book. Put on your earphones and get started as you listen. Don’t waste another second! Lol seriously!

While the world seems to be in love with the idea of tiny houses and minimalism, many of us simply can't purge it all and start from nothing. Yet a home with too much stuff is difficult to maintain, so where do we begin? Add in paralyzing emotional attachments and constant life challenges, and it can feel almost impossible to make real decluttering progress.

I can’t even tell you how many decluttering books I’ve read/listened to/“re-read”... and still nothing ever really sunk in or “took”..and You’d think if you’ve read one, you’ve read them all...but this one really is different. I could *so* relate to this author-I, too, am a ‘creative’ and always see the *potential* in things...things that other people would just be like “wth?” And all these dreams of what I “could potentially do”or had “been meaning to do”-but (duh) even years later “never DID”..yet I was collecting stuff ‘just in case I did’...ugh) The container rule? {MIND BOWN} ... I have tons of audiobooks I never finished (I know, shocker!) ..but really, THIS ONE? I Read it twice in a row and I guarantee that won’t be the last time. TRULY..you won’t be disappointed ..it’s a must read for anyone needing to declutter and not have a bigger mess than when you started!

The MANipulator manual. Keep your man interested and begging for more without playing games. So many women get in trouble in their love lives, and 99.9 percent of that trouble could have been avoided if they'd said "Well, f**k him!" a bit more often. Too many women are way too nice and compliant to their men, especially when these men don't deserve that kind of treatment. I, as a dating coach and author of books for women who want to get men, cannot take it anymore.

I seriously can’t tell you how many times I found myself saying, “yep, that is SO TRUE!!!”.. or “he’s right...that explains a whole lot”... I feel almost numb as I write this because all I can do is shake my head at the simplicity and common sense that I always preached with my words to my daughters about guys, that he says in this book along with other things I didn’t consider...but I have not practiced what I’ve preached. I would hands down recommend this book to all the “nice girls” out there...it’s really not enough to say to people or to yourself “you are worthy” “respect yourself”... you HAVE to walk the walk too and believe it! Because yes indeed-Men will treat you how you let them treat you!! Men and people In general!! Man, SUCH a good book..and I’ve read countless books on the subject. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Historia
Jesus promises peace and trouble for his followers. But most of us accept the peace and are confused and angry when adversity comes our way. All-American soccer star Mo Isom knows the struggle firsthand. While her life seemed like a success, she was battling an eating disorder, the suicide of her father, and a horrific car accident. It wasn't until God wrecked her life that she discovered the glory of renewal through Jesus Christ and that wreckage can be sacred rather than scarring.

Couldn't Stop Listening!
Revisado: 12-14-16
I first "discovered" Mo accidentally as I was watching YouTube videos on LSU soccer -I was intrigued, so I started watching and reading about her story and I was blown away at her message. I showed My daughter who was 8 at the time some videos of her and she seemed to instantly connect with her...2 years later, we've kept up with Mo on Facebook and such, and when her book came out, Elissa put it high on her Christmas list! I wanted to listen to it first in case there were things in it she shouldn't hear right now...and all I can say is I guess it's really up to each parents' discretion if they're thinking about giving it to their child, and the child's maturity level. I don't want to give away any of the book and I don't want to steer anyone away by all means-there are a couple of mature words used (porn, masturbation) but keep in mind this is a CHRISTIAN-based book(!) and in its context is not inappropriate, I promise! I found myself remembering my own young adulthood and the moment I realized how unexpected and treacherous paths can sometimes lead to something even better than we ever could have imagined, if we just have faith and realize we are truly not the ones in control, hard as we try sometimes. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I'm so glad it was Mo who read it! It was awesome :)
