Fun series ...but

I’ve really enjoyed this series, and this specific book. I do feel like this book was a bit more of a bridge to get to the next one - but it was still good. The one compliant I have is honestly is the sex. I prefer subtle hints rather than the blatant portrayal... it just feels out of sync with the rest of the book. And I have to say - I love Edgar.

Don’t buy the audio book!

I listen to the audio books while driving to work, and loved the first 5. They have a new narrator for this book, and she can’t even be bothered to make sure name are pronounced the same as the first five books. It’s so bad I’ve had to stop a few chapters in - I can’t stand it!

Surprised and delighted

I was surprised by how much I absolutely loved this story. The characters were well rounded, the story was a delight and I very much enjoyed the narration. I commute about 75 minutes per day, and audio books are my favorite to listen to when I’m on the road.
