Historia
Lawyer Will Chambers is still reeling from the death of his wife, when he is forced to give up his partnership at a prestigious Washington D.C. law firm. Taking the case of Angus MacCameron, a reverend who has been named in a libel suit, Will sees a chance for redemption. The case seems simple enough, but after a little digging, he finds a vast conspiracy that could shake the very foundations of Christianity. Trial lawyer Craig Parshall’s debut novel is a tense thriller about rediscovering faith and fighting for the truth.

Historia
The four dead guards didn’t concern Mitch Rapp as much as the absence of the man they’d been paid to protect. Joe Rickman wasn’t just another foot soldier. For the last eight years Rickman had ran the CIA’s clandestine operations in Afghanistan. It was a murky job that involved working with virtually every disreputable figure in the Islamic Republic. More than a quarter billion dollars in cash had passed through Rickman’s hands during his tenure as the master of black ops and no one with a shred of sense wanted to know the details of how that money had been spent.

Historia
At more than a hundred feet deep in the frigid Gulf of St. Lawrence, diving the Empress is like trying to navigate an unfamiliar sixty-story building lying on its side at a forty-five-degree angle, in pitch blackness with only a flashlight. In Dark Descent, Kevin McMurray takes us deep into the bowels of the lost ship, first to relive her tragic death and then to join the divers who have probed the wreck's secrets. It's an adventure from which some divers don't return.

Dry, dry, dry!

Short and boring
Revisado: 06-25-12
What did you like best about A Hunger for the Infinite? What did you like least?
Either I didn't understand this book or it was just too boring. Didn't really grab me like I hoped or waited for it to do. By the time I started getting interested in it, it was over. Sad but short.
What could Gregory Benford have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Added some additional adventure and storyline
What three words best describe Robin Sachs’s voice?
Dry, dull, unemotional.
