To start with I thought this was a little basic, but hang on in there. This is a really comprehensive book on how to improve learning coverring hydration, nutrition, learning styles, environment, learning cycle, intelligences etc etc.
Like all books I like to come away with some key learnings/ideas - this delivers.

Historia
In his 50s, Michael Gates Gill had it all: a big house in the suburbs, a loving family, and a top job at an ad agency with a six-figure salary. By the time he turned 60, he had lost everything except his Ivy League education and his sense of entitlement. First, he was downsized at work. Next, an affair ended his 20-year marriage. Then, he was diagnosed with a slow-growing brain tumor, prognosis undetermined. Around the same time, his girlfriend gave birth to a son.

Great for Starbucks fans
Revisado: 05-04-08
This book is great! It is not a business book as such but you do get a real feel for how Starbcks treat their "partners", with respect and dignity. As well as giving a real insight into what actually happens the other side of those famous counters, this is a moving story of a man who falls from grace in a high powered job. His luck changes the day he starts at starbucks and meets a new group of people from a completley different background. The naration is very very good and it is told as a story that kept me more than entertained for it's six hours. well worth it!!!

Imagine a world of business without Tom Peters
Revisado: 07-08-04
This audiobook is a lengthy one but worth every minute. It's great to listen to Tom having a rant about just about everything we do right and wrong in business. As well as putting some pretty convincing points across he's managed to make the serious subject matter illuminating and fun. It certainly changed the way in which I approach the "CONVENTIONAL" way of doing things. It's a shame there are'nt too many people out there with the gumption to make what Tom say's more commonplace! You could do a lot worse.
