Historia
Every season in Rockton seems to bring a new challenge. At least that's what Detective Casey Duncan has felt since she decided to call this place home. Between all the secretive residents, the sometimes-hostile settlers outside, and the surrounding wilderness, there's always something to worry about. While on a much needed camping vacation with her boyfriend, Sheriff Eric Dalton, Casey hears a baby crying in the woods. The sound leads them to a tragic scene: a woman buried under the snow, murdered, a baby still alive in her arms.

Love this series!
Revisado: 02-25-20
If you love dark, suspenseful novels with a mystery that’s satisfyingly solved in every book, and a bigger mystery that tantalizingly develops in each and every read, then you should be reading the Casey Duncan series. This time Casey and boyfriend sheriff Eric Dalton are on a winter camping trip. While playing with her dog Casey stumbles upon a dead body and a barely alive infant. Casey and Eric are determined to solve this mystery and return the infant to her family. No easy task but Casey never gives up. As the mystery unfolds we also learn more about the people that live in and around Rockton, a remote off the grid town that society knows nothing about and where your neighbour could be anyone good or bad.
This is the 5th instalment in the series and it’s just as great as the first. I hope this series doesn’t end anytime soon. Kelley Armstrong is an amazing writing and all of her books are a credit well used.

Historia
"Happily Ever After" wasn't supposed to come with a do-over option. But when my husband of 20 years packs up and heads for greener pastures, and my son heads away to college, that's exactly what my midlife becomes. A do-over. This time, though, I plan to do things differently. Age is just a number, after all, and at 40 I'm ready to carve my own path. Eager for a fresh start, I make a somewhat unorthodox decision and move to a tiny town in the Sierra foothills.

Loads of fun!

If you don’t think a middle age protagonist, a hunky 40 something shifter and a bunch of geriatric protectors aren’t the makings for a entertaining, hilarious story then you haven’t read K. F. Breene’s “Magical Midlife Madness”.

Historia
The Price family has spent generations studying the monsters of the world, working to protect them from humanity - and humanity from them. Enter Verity Price. Despite being trained from birth as a cryptozoologist, she'd rather dance a tango than tangle with a demon, and is spending a year in Manhattan while she pursues her career in professional ballroom dance. Sounds pretty simple, right?
