Historia
Ray Bradbury’s moving recollection of a vanished golden era remains one of his most enchanting novels. Dandelion Wine stands out in the Bradbury literary canon as the author’s most deeply personal work, a semiautobiographical recollection of a magical small-town summer in 1928.

Excellent reading of one of my favorite books
Revisado: 10-03-21
Every summer I either re-read or now re-listen to this novel by Ray Bradbury. To me it encapsulates the feeling of summers lost (and no I’m not old enough to have been around when this takes place.) The stories are magical, wondrous and spellbinding. The narration is perfect it’s never confusing who’s speaking despite the many characters.

Would you listen to West again? Why?
Yes. There's a lot going on and some great surprises and probably clues to the future sequels I may have missed.
What was one of the most memorable moments of West?
The ending came as a real surprise. I will not reveal it here.
What does Lillian Yves bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Lillian Yves brought a voice and vulnerability to Josie that came through crystal clear.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
History never truly repeats, unless you really, really try.
Any additional comments?
A fun, fast-paced, intelligent read.
