Compelling & Easy Listen, Informative of MOSSES & more, even if not previously interested in them.
Revisado: 02-16-25
Very easy to listen to for anyone because of author’s soothing voice & it’s content often conveyed in personal stories in a comfortable poetic manner.
The author’s passion for mosses & other related topics included make for a compelling listen that maintains listeners’ interest & attention on a topic that may not of caught our interest previously.
I will listen to this again both because it’s enjoyable to listen to and to better absorb content. It offers some good insights on ecology WITHOUT harsh shaming judgement.

Historia
From TV's Real Housewives to The Wolf of Wall Street, our popular culture portrays the wealthy as materialistic and entitled. But what do we really know about those who live on "easy street"? In this penetrating book, Rachel Sherman draws on rare in-depth interviews that she conducted with 50 affluent New Yorkers - including hedge fund financiers and corporate lawyers, professors and artists, and stay-at-home mothers - to examine their lifestyle choices and their understanding of privilege.

Fascinating new research
Revisado: 02-21-24
Insightful revelations from frank discussions of money/wealth from a researcher who acknowledges challenges of doing this research. Easy to follow & listen to.
Author’s challenges included getting participants to agree to interviews even though participants were assured anonymity, and even after agreeing to interviews many backed out. Difficulties getting participants to open up on some topics or details & the researcher even being too uncomfortable to ask some participants their income and/or net worth etc. And they acknowledged their own personal issues around topic & how they worked around them to keep the study objective.
